Always-on analytics needs a different kind of warehouse. Not one built to chase variable bursts of demand, but one built to handle predictable concurrency with consistent performance and controlled cost. This independent benchmark report from McKnight Consulting lays out why WarehousePG is a strong fit for that reality, with benchmark data across concurrency slowdown and annual platform cost: https://lnkd.in/g_T-cENQ #WarehousePG #BI #HybridCloud #Analytics #EDBPostgresAI

57% of enterprises already have analytical workloads in public, hybrid, or multicloud environments, and that number is climbing. But where data lives is only part of the equation. The organizations scaling AI fastest are the ones that have also figured out governance, compliance, and control across all of it. At EDB, we call this “sovereign-first.” And the numbers back the strategy up: organizations building this way are deploying 2x more genAI and agentic applications as a result. We sat down with Devin Pratt, Research Director at IDC, to unpack what hybrid and sovereignty really mean for enterprise architecture right now–and why it's become a competitive advantage, not just a compliance checkbox. EDB Postgres AI is the sovereign data and AI platform built for the agentic enterprise. Here’s what that means: Agentic AI changes how your data gets used. Agents don't wait for queries; they operate continuously, make decisions in real time, and need a foundation that can keep up. Most enterprise data stacks—fragmented across environments, stitched together with specialized tools—weren't built for this. EDB PG AI unifies transactional, analytical, and AI workloads in a single Postgres foundation. Your operational data powers your agents directly. No ETL overhead, no siloed pipelines, no integration work slowing your teams down before a project ever reaches production. The result: 3x faster time to production, 51% lower TCO, and up to 90x faster queries for enterprise-scale agentic systems on infrastructure you fully own. Read the full breakdown on what makes a platform actually ready for the agentic era. 👇 https://lnkd.in/deduURJQ #EDBPostgresAI #AgenticEnterprise #AIAgents #DataSovereignty

Bruce Momjian, Postgres co-founder and community advocate supported in his work by EDB, explains how Model Context Protocol (MCP) is changing how AI connects to external systems. Instead of hard-coded integrations, models can discover tools, retrieve data, and execute tasks. That shift brings the database directly into the operational loop of AI. Unpredictable warehouse costs, rigid deployment models, and drawn-out migrations are slowing down analytics teams. EDB Postgres AI for WarehousePG is built for organizations that want a more open path forward: a Postgres-based data warehouse for petabyte-scale analytics with greater cost control, deployment flexibility, and a lower-friction modernization path. If your current warehouse feels harder to justify every quarter, this is a useful place to start ⬇️ Learn more about WHPG: https://lnkd.in/eAK2JeGe #EDBPostgresAI #DataWarehouse #Analytics #BI #OpenSource

Banking institutions are already deploying agentic AI at scale, and BFSI ranks as one of the most committed sectors globally. But moving from early adoption to enterprise-wide deployment exposes a gap most governance frameworks weren't built for. Agents operate in milliseconds. By the time an anomaly surfaces through conventional monitoring, the action has already executed, the data has already been accessed, and the customer outcome may already be affected. Governance designed for human-paced processes can't intervene at agent speed. EDB VP of Product, Data & AI Governance Priyanka Jain wrote an article in Banking Dive on what real-time governance actually requires and why the institutions that figure it out will have a competitive advantage, not just a compliance posture: https://lnkd.in/g7wHiz-S #EDBPostgresAI #AgenticAI #BankingTech #DataSovereignty #AIGovernance

Every pipeline, every handoff, every copy of your data adds distance between an event and the decision that follows. At AI scale, that distance has a hefty price tag. IDC predicts 60% of enterprise databases will converge transactional and analytical workloads by 2029. EDB's benchmarks already show what's on the other side: 3x faster time to production, 65% faster time to value. We sat down with our guest, IDC Research Director Devin Pratt, to break down what this shift means for enterprise architecture and how to get ahead of it. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gedm9X7W #EDBPostgresAI
