We’re excited to share that Sarah Diehl been selected to join the Board of Directors of Wellness in the Schools — an incredible nonprofit creating healthier environments for children to learn, live, and thrive. Two years ago, our team at Empowered Hospitality partnered with WITS to hire 75 line cooks for the Chefs in the Schools program. Since then, Chefs in Schools has reached over 1,000 NYC schools and over 800,000 children with plant-forward, scratch-cooked, culturally inclusive recipes, and nutrition and culinary education.
