Our teams understand that hospitality is just as much about building trusted relationships, making people feel safe and seen in a space and paying attention to the little things as it is about great service. We’re proud of our team supporting General Mills in Minneapolis who was recently recognized by our client team for demonstrating excellence in service and hospitality. They were given the General Mills Contractor Award for their part in helping the General Mills team make food the world loves.

Facilities Coordinator George Harwood recently found a smarter way to recycle equipment at SAP’s headquarters in Pennsylvania. After uncovering a supplier recycling program that offered credits for returned equipment, George coordinated the recycling of approximately 15 units. This turned a routine process into an opportunity to reduce waste and deliver greater value for the client. His initiative earned him the SAP Q1 2026 Global Real Estate & Facilities Americas IMPACT Recognition Award for Outstanding Customer Service. Congratulations on this recognition, George, and thank you for finding smarter, more sustainable ways to deliver value for our clients.

This is the team behind a major win for a global life sciences client. They found more than $400,000 in potential annual energy savings through our self-performed energy treasure hunts. The assessment included marketplace kitchen, operated by one of our sister Compass Group USA companies, and uncovered more than $80,000 in potential annual savings within that space alone. Over the past two years, ESFM has identified approximately $5 million in annual energy savings, helping clients reduce costs, improve efficiency and advance their sustainability goals. Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and reminds us that progress is something we continue to pursue. As we reflect on this important moment in history, we also recognize the value of learning from our past, appreciating different experiences and creating communities where everyone feels respected, supported and empowered to succeed.

The impact of a great leader is felt far beyond day-to-day tasks and responsibilities. For Mareca Hong, that impact shows up in the strong team culture she's helped create, the relationships she's built with team members and clients, and the way she approaches challenges with a solutions-focused mindset. As a Business Services Manager supporting one of our pharmaceutical clients, Mareca was nominated by her team to be recognized at Compass Group's Compass Community Council last month. They describe her leadership, dedication, and commitment to others as unmatched. Team members like Mareca are what make ESFM great. Thank you for all you do, and congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.
