I recently got to compare all the *mainstream* Lucid Air trims: Pure vs. Touring vs. Grand Touring. For most people, the Pure should suffice, but if you want to have lane centering or the glass roof, then you'll need to opt for the Touring or Grand Touring, as they are the prerequisite trims for those options. The great news is that the driving experience is phenomenal across all trims. I recently compared the Tesla Model S, BMW Group i5, Lucid Motors Air, and Porsche AG Taycan to see which is the best used luxury EV for around $50,000. Tesla Model S (Long Range) Pros: - Excellent software + ecosystem integration - Lots of standard features like ventilated seats - Huge trunk and hatch practicality Cons: - Dated exterior design - Ride quality and feel lacks refinement BMW i5 eDrive40 Pros: - Quiet, refined, genuinely premium interior - Incredible Hans Zimmer electric sounds - iDrive 8 is the best legacy auto infotainment right now Cons: - Doesn’t support Superchargers (for now) - The largest hood yet no frunk (packaging is no bueno)!
