  • Dr. Edith Eva Eger has passed away at 98-years-old, leaving behind a legacy shaped by unimaginable loss, resilience, and radical forgiveness. In 1944 during the Holocaust, at just 16 years old, she was deported to Auschwitz, separated from her parents, and forced to dance for her life before Josef Mengele while her mother was sent to her death. She endured starvation, violence, and death marches, and was ultimately discovered barely alive among a pile of corpses at liberation. Despite everything, she chose to forgive. Not for what was done to her, but for herself. She transformed her pain into purpose and dedicated her life to helping others heal. A Holocaust survivor, pioneering psychologist, and author of “The Choice,” Dr. Eger taught us that freedom is not about what happens to us, but how we respond to what happens to us. She showed us that even in the face of the unfathomable, we still have a choice. And that choice can set us free.

  • A mother’s love, and the sacrifices that come with it, quietly shape the meals we carry with us throughout our lives. In “Every Mouthful is Meaningful,” CP Foods, in collaboration with Ogilvy Thailand, brings this truth to life through an emotionally resonant narrative. The campaign weaves together themes of mother-daughter relationships, the importance of nutritious food, and the many forms care can take (even from those who aren’t our mothers) resulting in a deeply moving and layered piece of storytelling.

  • Gird your loins, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is out today! From ambition to mentorship, no one captured the highs and lows of the workplace quite like the original film did. Beneath the fashion and iconic one-liners, it showed what it feels like to be underestimated, to find your voice, and to grow into your own. It also didn’t shy away from the tension between chasing success and staying true to yourself. Some lessons never go out of style. Tag your movie buddy who you'll be seeing the sequel with 👇

  • For years, women athletes were told to tone it down, stay quiet, and just be grateful. On the latest episode of #FQBroadlines, Angel McCoughtry breaks down why that mindset is changing and why using your voice drives real progress. From equal pay to better contracts, none of it happens without women speaking up. This next generation is done shrinking. 💪 Watch the latest episode of #FQBroadlines on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gFAAg55c

  • #FQLeaders ✨ Most influencer trips look the same because they’re built around follower counts. The easiest thing to do is invite the biggest names and call it a day, but Virgin Voyages took a different approach. One thing brands consistently miss is accessibility, and in doing so they leave entire communities out of the conversation and out of the content. Elayane Merriwether, Head of Global Brand & Content at Virgin Voyages, was deliberate about doing the opposite. They were intentional about planning a trip that actually looked like the real world. Because Virgin Voyages’ sailors are everyday people from all walks of life, and the creators representing the brand needed to actually reflect that.

  • In a landmark decision, FIFA has officially allowed the Afghan women’s football team to compete as Afghanistan’s national team, while living in exile. This means these athletes can now compete on the international stage without recognition or approval from the Taliban. After the Taliban returned to power in 2021 and banned women’s sports, the national team was disbanded and its players were forced to flee. Many rebuilt their lives across Australia, Europe, and the United States, while continuing to advocate for their right to compete, not just as refugees, but as athletes. For years, these players and their supporters called on FIFA to recognize them. Now, that persistence has led to change. FIFA has introduced new rules allowing teams to compete in exceptional circumstances when governments or federations block participation.👏 FIFA has also committed to providing financial, technical, and operational support for up to two years to help the team reestablish itself. The amendment sets a global precedent for how governing bodies can respond when systems shut women out and deny them basic human rights.
