Hennepin County has once again received AAA credit ratings with stable outlooks from both S&P Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings. These highest possible ratings highlight confidence in the county's strong fiscal management and help us save taxpayer dollars by securing lower interest rates on bonds. Hennepin County’s Growing Communities program transforms tax‑forfeited and vacant land into productive urban agriculture spaces that strengthen neighborhoods and support climate resilience. These sites help increase food security, provide space to grow culturally relevant foods, and bring residents together for learning and shared meals. In recent years, partners have grown over 4,200 pounds of produce, and in 2025, 1,300 residents participated or benefited directly. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/grekutXf
