Giving back is even more meaningful when you can make it a family affair. 💚 This month, members of the IGS Energy C&I team partnered with Seeds of Caring — a Columbus-based nonprofit that connects kids with meaningful volunteer opportunities — for a family-friendly day of service at our Dublin office. Together, the team and their family members packed 200 breakfast kits for the Dublin Food Pantry and 50 literacy kits for The Buckeye Ranch. “We all thought it would be great to get C&I families together while teaching our kids how to give back,” shared C&I Sales Director Andrea Wilkins. Thank you to all the IGS-ers who spent the day giving back to such meaningful initiatives. 👏 #IGSImpact #LifeAtIGS

Wondering what it’s like to intern with IGS Energy? Take it from Hannah Hofferberth, who spent the summer with us: “Working as a software engineer intern, I had the opportunity to have a real impact on the solar platform, building out full-stack features to address solar installer needs, feedback from operations teams, and pain points in the team’s internal processes. Along the way, my technical abilities and understanding of the solar business underwent a complete transformation. I also gained so much confidence in my own skills, becoming a more efficient, aware, and collaborative software engineer. The real highlight of the summer, though, was getting to work alongside my team. I have such a huge amount of appreciation for the fun and supportive atmosphere that gave me so much space to learn and grow.” We’re already looking forward to next summer’s internship program! 😎 Ready to join us? 🔥 What’s happening in the natural gas market? The August NYMEX contract settled at $2.725/MMBtu, and winter prices also moved lower. Even with global LNG and oil markets seeing more volatility, U.S. natural gas remains well supplied. For customers, lower domestic prices may signal a good opportunity to explore forward buying options. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4w4VxhQ #NaturalGas #EnergyMarkets

PJM power prices moved fast in July. ⚡ Early heatwaves sent prices sharply higher, with the PJM West Hub reaching $1,222.75/MWh on July 2. A mid-month cooldown brought prices back down. Capacity costs are still a major story too, with PJM’s latest auction clearing at the price cap for the third year in a row. July was hot — really hot — putting pressure on the energy markets. 🌡️ This month, the heatwaves are expected in the Southwest, while El Nino signals continue to build for winter. Learn more about weather’s impact on the markets: https://bit.ly/4w4VxhQ #EnergyMarkets

August’s Market Commentary highlights a familiar theme: Energy markets are still highly sensitive to weather, reliability pressures, and global volatility. Get the full picture with our latest Market Commentary: https://bit.ly/4w4VxhQ #EnergyMarkets #NaturalGas #PowerMarkets

Energy markets have always moved in cycles. Hot summers increase electricity demand. Cold winters increase demand for natural gas. Spring and fall have traditionally provided periods of lower consumption and, often, lower prices. Those seasonal patterns still matter. But today’s energy market is being shaped by forces that extend well beyond these typical cycles. Learn what's driving the markets (and prices) most: https://bit.ly/4bGehN9

IGS Energy reposted this
You've seen a lot of intern highlights from IGS Energy Headquarters in Dublin this summer, but did you know that some of the C&I Sales interns spend their summer living and working in Chicago? Recently, the Dublin-based interns had the opportunity to visit Chicago and connect with their fellow interns there, getting a firsthand look at what their experience has been like throughout the summer. The trip brought interns together to build relationships, learn from one another, and experience a different side of our internship program. From professional development and networking to team bonding and exploring the city, it was a great reminder of how valuable building relationships is. Experiences like this are about more than just gaining hands-on experience. They're about building community, expanding your network, and creating memories and relationships that last long after the internship ends.💙🏙️ #LifeAtIGS
