In partnership with Joby Aviation, we hosted the US Army at Joby’s facility to demonstrate how their hybrid aircraft supports the Army’s vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) requirements. The future battlefield relies on unmanned systems augmenting manned platforms, and our partnership with Joby accelerates missionized VTOL aircraft to support defense operations.

Our first quarter results demonstrate that our portfolio is aligned to our customers’ priorities. Orders were strong, revenue accelerated, and operating income increased as we continue to deliver industry-leading margins underpinned by strong program performance and portfolio optimization. It is clear that capacity is the new capability. Delivering at scale requires the infrastructure, facilities, workforce and supply chain to support global security priorities. We invested ahead of demand, shaped the portfolio around the future of warfare, and built the manufacturing and engineering base needed to respond as demand signals turn into programs of record and production ramps. As the United States Marine Corps prepares for operations in increasingly contested environments, the ability to move critical supplies without putting pilots at risk is essential.
