Mid-season staff retention is one of the hardest challenges in parks and recreation, and the NRPA Leadership Development Network is tackling it head on this July 8. Kealy Daye, CPRP will be leading a conversation on how to keep seasonal and part-time staff engaged and coming back when the summer grind starts to wear on them. If you have ever lost a great employee in week six of a twelve-week season, you know exactly why this topic matters. Join us virtually on July 8 at 12:00 PM MDT. The LDN meets every second Wednesday of the month, and it is one of the better professional development investments you can make in this field. Excited to share that the NRPA Leadership Development Network is meeting on June 10 and the topic is one that deserves more attention in our field! Partnering with Destination Marketing Organizations is a conversation parks and recreation professionals need to be having. DMOs are often an untapped resource for collaboration, and I am looking forward to hearing from John David and Jennifer Fink, CPRP on how we can think more strategically about these relationships. If you are a parks and rec leader looking to grow your network and sharpen your thinking, this is a great space to do that. The LDN meets virtually every second Wednesday of the month. Join us June 10 at 12:00 PM MDT. Link to register in the flyer! #NRPA #ParksAndRecreation #LeadershipDevelopment #LDN #PublicParks #ParksProfessionals #CommunityPartnerships
