Last week, our Team Members from across North America came together for our Annual Growth Meeting. 🚀  We celebrated all we’ve accomplished over the past year and rallied around what it means to lead with intention, move with urgency, and create meaningful experiences for our customers. Together, we recommitted to fueling the joy of creativity and celebration.  During the meeting, we recognized Team Members who bring our purpose to life every day, because our values aren’t just words on a wall — they’re how we win. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be spotlighting award winners across our community, so stay tuned. 👏  Now, we carry that passion and momentum forward, shifting from seizing the moment to scaling it. Spring creativity is in full bloom across our Stores, and our recent Team Member Peeps Diorama Contest proved that the season’s imagination knows no bounds. 🐥 We challenged our participants to bring the season to life using a variety of Peeps, and the results were incredible. We saw so many creative, colorful, and highly imaginative submissions from all over the country. Some highlights: 🧶 A cozy living room scene featuring a Peep relaxing at home while knitting with yarn purchased at Michaels 🌳 A miniature community park where Peeps gather for picnicking and custom-services like egg decorating 🧙♂️ A whimsical magical world with Peeps dressed in cloaks and scarfs, holding wands, and brewing potions in a mini-cauldron The sheer volume of creative submissions, teamwork, and pure fun behind these displays perfectly captures what makes our Team Members so unique. Congratulations to all our winners and every Team Member who brought a little extra joy to the competition! 🎉

Our annual Michaels Madness Crafting Challenge brings Team Members together for a fun, bracket-style competition—challenging them to turn basic crafting supplies into one-of-a-kind creations. 🎨✨    This year's participants took creativity to the next level, and we've officially crowned our champions:    🥇 Anglerfish by Dylan took first place with a standout mixed-media build, featuring a yarn-wrapped balloon base and intricate details—from beaded eyes to foil paper teeth.  🥈 Family Movie Night by Deb earned second place with a cozy, creative scene—complete with a fabric mâché bowl of “buttery” yarn popcorn and a box of “beads” candy.  🥉 Luna Bell’s Fairy House by Mary rounds out the top three with a whimsical miniature full of soft textures and magical details.🧚♀️   Congratulations to our winners and every Team Member who participated. This challenge showcases how our Team Members fuel the joy of creativity every day—even outside the aisles.
