Stolen checks listed on the dark web can be bought, altered and deposited within days of being posted, often long before a bank or credit union ever sees them. A new partnership between Nasdaq Verafin and Q6 Cyber aims to close that gap, making available dark web fraud intelligence inside the Verafin platform so financial institutions can act before the first fraudulent transaction is attempted. Tokenizing collateral is a significant unlock for the industry. I am pleased to share that two of the world's leading asset managers, Vanguard and Wellington Management, have successfully completed their first tokenized collateral trades on the Canton Network, demonstrating how Nasdaq’s technology can help them connect, post, and accept tokenized assets as eligible collateral alongside existing pools. The industry is at an inflection point, and these transactions demonstrate that the institutional market is ready to move with us. Read more below on how we are turning tokenized collateral into operating reality below. 👇

The most important moment in healthcare isn't the diagnosis — it's surfacing the question underneath the question, the one no technology can find for you. That insight anchored the discussion our Chair and CEO Adena Friedman had with Dr. Lucy McBride, author of Beyond the Prescription. They discussed why high achievers struggle to advocate for their own health and why AI, while extraordinary at giving answers, doesn’t always surface the right question. A new wave of oversubscribed offerings is rewriting the biotech playbook in 2026. This summer, Nasdaq welcomed six upsized biopharma IPOs in a row — raising a combined $1.59 billion. These follow record-breaking June listings, including Parabilis Medicines' $670M — the largest biotech IPO on record. Nasdaq is home to 94% of U.S. public biotech companies and 93% of all eligible healthcare IPOs since 2021. The window remains wide open heading into late 2026.

Modernizing capital markets technology doesn't have to mean starting over. After two decades on Nasdaq Calypso, novobanco moved to CapCloud, Nasdaq’s fully managed, cloud-native operating model, to simplify a complex landscape and reduce customization. The payoff is a cleaner, more scalable foundation, one that positions one of Portugal's leading banks to extend Calypso across the full trading lifecycle. Nasdaq is entering a definitive agreement to acquire LeveL Markets, one of the leading off-exchange equity execution venues in the United States. LeveL Markets’ capabilities will advance Nasdaq's broader vision for always-on markets, expanding the company’s role in how liquidity is connected, capital is formed, and markets operate across an increasingly continuous global economy. Nearly every software company can point to AI in its business. But quantifying that value creation is an entirely different matter, and the market hasn't agreed on how to measure it. New research looks at the metrics starting to emerge and what they signal about where value is actually being created.
