It was great to be back in Dallas this week, reconnecting with both our team and our clients. There’s nothing better than spending time together in person - strengthening relationships, sharing ideas, and building momentum. We had a fantastic team appreciation event at Puttshack, which was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and enjoy time together. It was great to see such strong representation from our security team, with some traveling over 1,000 miles to be present. A special thank you to Linda White for coordinating such a great event, really well done! I always value the opportunity to connect with our people. It was a great week all around.

  • Doing compliance via spreadsheet is just organized chaos. You’ve got screenshots in random folders, knowledge that lives in one person's head, and a SharePoint site that hasn't been touched in 6 months. That might have worked 3 years ago, but it won’t pass a C3PAO assessment today. If you’re trying to scale in the DIB or healthcare space, you need actual GRC infrastructure. Whether we realize it or not, we are always conditioning behavior. As parents. As leaders. As colleagues. Every time we tolerate, reward, or correct something, we are teaching people what gets repeated. If a child throws a tantrum in the grocery store and eventually gets the candy, they learn something. Not consciously. Not maliciously. But they learn: bad behavior can get results. The same thing happens in companies. If the loudest voice always gets priority, people learn to get louder. If missed commitments are repeatedly excused, people learn commitments are optional. If bad behavior is tolerated long enough, it becomes the standard. That’s why holding the line matters. It does not mean being harsh. It means being clear about the standard, consistent in holding it, and being willing to endure the discomfort when that standard gets tested. I’ve learned holding the line isn't just about what you refuse to reward. It's about what you choose to reward instead. The quiet voice who kept the commitment. The teammate who hit the deadline while others slipped. The person that called out their own mistake and owned the solution. That's conditioning for growth. What are you conditioning your team to repeat? #WeExistToGrowEachOther

Apple is growing fast in business. Small and large. Most environments aren’t built for it. Apple devices are showing up everywhere across teams. But they’re often forced into systems that weren’t designed for them. That’s where friction starts. We’re excited to share that Ntiva, Inc. has joined the Apple Partner Network as an Apple Premium Technical Partner. That matters because Apple holds a high bar for how their environments are deployed, managed, and supported More importantly, it improves outcomes for our clients: Less friction Better user experience Stronger security Cleaner operations at scale Apple isn’t going away. It’s becoming a bigger part of how modern companies operate. Is it working for you or creating drag behind the scenes? At Ntiva, we’re focused on helping clients use technology as a competitive advantage. Increasingly, that means getting Apple right. If it’s not as smooth as it should be, it’s worth a conversation. #WeExistToGrowEachOther

Everyone is being told they need AI. Very few are being shown where it will actually make a difference. Most companies do not need more noise, more platforms, or more disconnected tools. They need clarity. They need to know where technology can remove friction, create better insight, and help their teams move faster with more confidence. At Ntiva, Inc., our approach is not to push something just because it is available. Our job is to help clients use technology as a competitive advantage. - Sometimes that means helping leaders get better insights and intelligence from their data. - Sometimes it means automating repeatable tasks that are stealing time from good people. - Sometimes it means integrating applications that were never built to work well together, so data flows more cleanly, errors go down, and teams stop wasting energy on double entry and manual workarounds. This is where a lot of the real opportunity lives. Not in generic demos. Not in hype. Not in forcing a tool into a business before the business is ready. The best outcomes start with real operational pain points: Where is work slowing down? Where are mistakes happening? Where is data trapped? Where are smart people doing work that technology should already be handling? Then we partner with our clients to solve those problems in ways that are practical, secure, and measurable. Technology should drive better decisions. Better flow of information. Better client and employee experiences. Better speed. Better accuracy. That is what matters. And when you get that right, the conversation shifts from “Should we be doing something with AI?” to “Where else can we create a competitive advantage?” #AI #Automation #DigitalTransformation #WeExistToGrowEachOther

One of the most influential leaders in my life was my middle school history teacher. Gail Boyar was the strictest teacher I ever had. Desks had to be aligned. Binders had to be organized. Notes had to be meticulous. Expectations were exacting, and she held the line. At the time, it felt unreasonably intense. Looking back, it was a gift. She taught me discipline. She taught me how to organize my thoughts. She taught me that hard work produces results. And maybe most importantly, she taught me how to think. I wish I could say we appreciated her at the time. We didn’t. But she was willing to be disliked in order to do what was right for her students in the long run. That is leadership. Too often, we confuse being liked with being effective. They are not the same. The best educators, parents, and leaders create standards. They stay consistent. They do the hard work. They forgo the praise. And over time, they change lives. Mrs. Boyar did that for generations of students. I’m grateful she did it for me. Do you have a strict teacher or mentor you appreciate far more now than you did at the time? #WeExistToGrowEachOther

You are about to see a surge in critical software updates. Do not ignore them. Recent coverage from The Wall Street Journal highlights how models like Anthropic’s Mythos are uncovering thousands of vulnerabilities across major systems, forcing a wave of urgent patches. The gap between discovery and exploitation is shrinking fast. Updates may feel like an annoyance. Ignoring them puts your business at risk. Act quickly. And give your IT teams the support they need as they execute through this wave of critical patches. #Cybersecurity #AI # #WeExistToGrowEachOther
