Omada Health is now available through Optum Rx's Weight Engage program, meaning employers can now purchase Omada through all three largest PBMs. GLP-1s have changed the weight management conversation, but medication alone isn't the answer. Our recent research reinforces why: members pairing GLP-1s with Omada lost more fat and preserved more muscle mass compared to GLP-1 patients not in Omada’s program. The behavior change wrapped around the medication is what helps improve health outcomes. If your GLP‑1 strategy stops at “pounds lost,” you may be leaving value on the table. In a new study of people newly starting GLP‑1s for weight managements, individuals supported by Omada’s GLP‑1 Care Track lost, on average, more total weight and more body fat without giving up more muscle than those on GLP‑1s without Omada—translating into better strength, mobility, and metabolic resilience over time.
