Some news: Overtone has raised $18M, with support from FirstMark, Pace Capital, and Match Group. I'm also honored to welcome Esther Perel to our board of directors, alongside Diana Chapman and Spencer Rascoff. A lot of people close to me have been surprised that I would dive right back into starting a new company — especially another dating company. “Aren’t you tired? Or bored?” The truth is, the deeper I go into the problem of love, the more interesting and inspiring it becomes. Given our rising loneliness epidemic, it’s hard for me to imagine working on anything more meaningful or important. And there has never been a more critical moment. The opportunities and perils of AI are staggering. I worry deeply about its misuse, especially around something as intimate and sacred as love. At the same time, if approached thoughtfully and ethically, I believe we now have the chance to create an entirely new and better paradigm in dating. We'll open in select locations later this year. We closed 30M at a 500M valuation to scale open-source AI for creative production. Today we're announcing $30M in new funding led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Pace Capital, Chemistry, Tru Arrow Partners and others. That brings our total to $47M, at a $500M valuation. None of those numbers existed when we shipped the first version of ComfyUI, but they exist now because the community kept building on top of it. Silverside AI built SVEDKA's 2026 Super Bowl spot on ComfyUI, the first primarily AI-generated commercial of its kind. Creative studios like Black Math are delivering modular creative pipelines using ComfyUI for their clients. Technical artists use ComfyUI the way engineers use code, composing models, LoRAs, ControlNets, and community nodes into precise, reproducible workflows. ComfyUI artist is now a real job title at enterprise studios. Behind all of that, 60,000+ contributor-built nodes have made the platform faster, deeper, and more capable than any closed product team could match. This funding will accelerate our mission to build an open infrastructure, the kind that lasts, the kind that empowers rather than locks in. The core stays open, local stays first, and every part of this round goes toward building for the people who create things for a living. The next chapter of creative AI is going to be built by them, not handed to them.

Today we're announcing a $30M financing round at a $500M valuation, bringing our total funding to $47M. The round was led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Pace Capital, Chemistry, Tru Arrow Partners, and others. This moment belongs to the community that made it possible. ComfyUI didn't start as a company. It started as one developer, one open-source repo, and a fast-growing group of creators who wanted real control over how they made things with AI. That community now spans 4 million users, 60,000+ community-built nodes, and 150,000+ daily downloads. The funding, the valuation, the enterprise adoption - all of it traces back to people who cared enough to build something together, in public, for anyone to use. Where this round takes us This funding goes toward making ComfyUI the open-source AI infrastructure for creative professionals. Here's what we're building: → Comfy Cloud, built for teams Cloud infrastructure for creators without high-end local compute, and studios that need security and reliability from day one. → Collaborative workflows Shared versioning and iteration so ComfyUI finally works the way studios actually work together. → A better local experience The power was always there. We're making Comfy Local seamless and stable. → Ecosystem stability Infrastructure and standards to make 60,000+ community nodes more reliable on local and cloud alike. → Day-0 model support Every major model release working in ComfyUI from launch. We're building the integrations and partnerships to make that a guarantee. We are not building a walled garden. We are building open infrastructure. The kind that lasts, the kind that empowers rather than locks in. To the community This round gives us the resources to go further. We'll keep building in the open, keep listening, and let this community remain the reason we build. Thank you genuinely, The ComfyUI Team Read more: https://lnkd.in/dWbVzTTg
