PATH Foundation

PATH is grateful to ALL our supporters! With more than 35 years and 350 miles of trails built in the state to date, PATH has impacted communities in immeasurable ways and transformed the Georgia landscape with permanent and safe, accessible trails for all citizens to enjoy. As PATH trails become even more traveled for commuting as well as appreciated for recreating, there is a need TODAY to further our reach TOMORROW. Our generous supporters enable us to continue enhancing our community with a trail system that is woven throughout neighborhoods near and far. Last year’s Annual Fund was completed at the end of July and we welcomed (60) new donors and (653) gifts in total. As the fall season fast approaches, we want to take the opportunity to acknowledge all PATH donors who make trails happen. Today PATH announces a new challenge that will begin on September 1st and allow donors to double their gift! Stay tuned on social media to see how you can participate!

The 79' bridge that was installed over Woodall Creek to link parts of the Silver Comet Connector required custom-made dollies to transport it back to the setting location. Here are a few angles of the transport and unloading 🚧

Trails under construction 🏗️ Atlanta Riverlands All 3 of the bridge structures included in this project will be installed this summer. Crews are beginning to pour trail on the Standing Peachtree Park side. PATH400 (Loridans to Sandy Springs) Crews have completed the large MSE (mechanically stabilized earth) switchback walls and have started prepping for the trail to be poured. Silver Comet Connector (Segments 2 & 3) One of the three bridges on this project has been set with the other two to follow this summer. This unique project flosses through the already built out community where folks can connect into the Silver Comet Trail or the Atlanta Beltline. Completion will be summer of 2027.

In Columbus, the Dragonfly Midtown Connector-1 project continues progressing! Here's a shot looking into Dinglewood Park 📸 This project connects many parts of the community together by linking parks, retail, and living along Weracoba Creek! Stay tuned!

Thank you for the outstanding turnout at Tuesday's River Valley Regional Rail Trail Feasibility Study! Community input and feedback is a crucial part of the planning and design process. Thank you for taking the time to participate!

At 3.92 miles long, this is one of PATH's busiest trails. Mostly pedestrians utilize this facility for walking, jogging, walking their dogs, and socializing. The trail has a couple of hills but otherwise is an easy walk. There are two loops to enjoy; one around the golf course and another north of Galloway School, the amphitheatre and the playground. Both are pedestrian heavy with few cyclists around.
