Yesterday we celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the new Center for Education, Business & Arts (CEBA) in Shenandoah, PA, which will serve the entire Schuylkill County region. Located at 115 North Main Street, CEBA represents the first new downtown construction in nearly 25 years, transforming the site of the former Davison’s Furniture Store and Thunder Road nightclub into a dynamic hub for learning, entrepreneurship, networking, and the arts. It is a true milestone project with the community investing in its future and renewed economic activity. Designed to bring multiple community needs under one roof, the facility will host educational programs, support small business development, and provide space for cultural events and collaboration. RMF provided mechanical and electrical design engineering services for the project, working alongside Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects York. With doors now open, CEBA stands as a catalyst for growth, connection, and opportunity in Shenandoah. #RMFEngineering #Engineering #CommunityDevelopment

Congratulations to the team and Spelman College on this honor👏.
We are thrilled to share that the Spelman College Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts has received a 2026 Design Honor Award from AIA Georgia! Uniting Spelman’s existing arts and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs, this cross-disciplinary learning environment creates new opportunities for women of African descent to excel in fields where they are often underrepresented. Organized around two distinct hubs for collaboration, the building features the central Forum, a flexible space where students can encounter new ideas and people through pin-ups, performances, and other gatherings, and the natural light-filled Arthur M. Blank Innovation Lab, an interdisciplinary maker space where students from across programs come together to produce work using shared, state-of-the-art tools. As Spelman’s first new academic facility in nearly 25 years, and the first new building outside the campus' historic gates, the Center serves as a new “front porch” for Spelman by establishing a new connection between the surrounding community and the College. Thank you to the AIA Georgia jury for this recognition, and to Spelman College and our collaborators BDR PARTNERS, GVSA, SCAPE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE DPC, Thornton Tomasetti, dbHMS, Morlights, Threshold Acoustics & AV, Theatre Projects, Newcomb & Boyd, LLP, RMF Engineering, Inc., Turner Construction Company, and many more for helping bring this project to life!

Members of the RMF Boston team Mark McManus, Sean Donohue, EIT, Jason Zhou, XE, GGEP, and Christian Ortolani, PE are currently conducting a mechanical and electrical existing conditions assessment of five fire stations in Lowell, MA. Almost all the stations date from the late 1800’s and are brimming with nearly a century and a half of firefighting history. This work is part of a larger effort with architects from Gale Associates, Inc. to help the Lowell Fire Department identify areas for improvement and assist them in allocating their available renovation funding as effectively as possible. Pictured, is a brain-bending view up the old hose tower in one of the stations, where one can still picture the original station’s firemen hanging their riveted-leather hoses to dry after answering a call at one of the city’s many textile mills. These existing conditions assessments can involve running down every last circuit from source to load, sometimes leading into some very unexpected but interesting places. #RMFEngineering #Engineering #Mechanical #Electrical #FacilityAssessment

RMF Engineering, Inc. reposted this
Grateful for the opportunity to wear multiple hats at this year’s Women in Healthcare - North Carolina Chapter & ACHE of the Triad Legislative Day Summit on April 10. As both a proud RMF Engineering, Inc. sponsor and President of WIH, NC, it was incredibly rewarding to help bring this event to life and to kick off a day centered around one of the most important conversations in our industry—the future of healthcare and the policies shaping it. This event was a true testament to the power of partnership. A heartfelt thank you to ACHE of the Triad and especially to incoming President Beth Cottrell, MHA/MBA, BSN, RN for the trust, collaboration, and shared vision. Building this relationship has been just as meaningful as the event itself. On a personal note, I cannot say enough about the joy I had planning alongside Jami Pinkert, MHA, CPCS, CPMSM, FACHE and her entire team. The energy, dedication, and teamwork behind the scenes made this experience unforgettable. She is a diamond. I’m also proud to represent RMF Engineering as a panel sponsor, where Andrea Thompson, PE, CEM, CHC, HFDP set the tone with thoughtful opening remarks on the complexities healthcare leaders are navigating today. These are the conversations that matter—and they’re only getting more critical. Lastly, My "Little Mighty Mouse" Teresa White! Thank you for always providing words of encourage and support behind the scenes. Your positive energy makes an impact. Already looking forward to what we will build together next year! #WomenInHealthcare #ACHE #HealthcareLeadership #HealthcarePolicy #LegislativeDay #RMFEngineering #Partnership #Leadership #FutureOfHealthcare

Sometimes the most meaningful conversations and perspectives happen well beyond the typical workday. Last night was one of those evenings! RMF’s Betsy Turner was in attendance with this incredible team to see the mockup of the new Clemson University Williamson Road Parking Garage in action. It was also a pleasure to have Clemson’s former President, Jim Barker, there as well. RMF is providing mechanical and electrical buildings engineering and underground utilities engineering.
It’s worth staying at the office until dark when you get to check out the lighting mock up for our parking garage . It’s going to be amazing …. coming 2027 . Fantastic work by Ronna Emerling Betsy Turner and all our partners at Jenkins•Peer Architects, a CannonDesign Company, RMF Engineering, Inc. Clements Electrical, Inc. and Triangle Construction Company, Inc. and the leadership of PDC PM John Gambrell

Conversations around the future of healthcare took center stage on April 10 at the Women in Healthcare - North Carolina Chapter and ACHE of the Triad Legislative Day Summit, where industry leaders came together to examine the policy landscape shaping care delivery. RMF served as a panel sponsor for "Navigating Key Legislative Issues Facing Healthcare Leaders," with Andrea Thompson, PE, CEM, CHC, HFDP delivering opening remarks. Her perspective underscored the growing complexity healthcare organizations face, from regulatory pressures to rising costs, and the lasting impact of legislation on how care is planned and delivered. At RMF, our proactive, people-first approach continues to guide how we navigate these challenges. With more than 40 years in business and a team of over 350 professionals across 12 East Coast offices, RMF invests in best-in-class benefits, including 100% reimbursement of employee deductibles, while staying engaged in critical legislative conversations. As highlighted during the panel, understanding and responding to these shifts is essential for effective leadership in today’s healthcare environment. We appreciate the impactful discussion led by moderator Michael Rovinsky of Array Advisors, whose experience brought valuable insight to the conversation. Our own Stephanie Kegley Adler also played an integral role in planning the event and delivered opening remarks to kick off the summit. Thank you to Women in Healthcare, ACHE of the Triad, and all who contributed to a day of insightful dialogue.
Women in Healthcare - North Carolina Chapter extends our sincere thanks to ACHE of the Triad for their partnership in making this impactful event a success. We are incredibly grateful to our outstanding panel of experts who brought insight, candor, and real-world perspective to the discussion: Leigh Fritz (DeMarco), Deborah Stern, moderator David Tyson, Ryan Blackledge, Luke McDonald, MPA, and moderator Michael Rovinsky. A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Pamela Ograbisz, DNP, FNP-BC, for delivering such a powerful and thought-provoking message.
