  • It's our responsibility as a digital agency to stay at the cutting edge of modern innovation, for our own use and for the success of our clients. In this month's Scaler Spark, hear about: - Our vision of what's coming from cofounders David Nathan and Jesse Shauffer - How AI has transformed our dev team from developers to system builders with our lead devs, Aonnoy Sengupta and Josiah Duenes, and - A special feature on AI and funding for Startups with Kat Weaver Make sure to subscribe for future insights and discoveries.

In the 90s, the internet let a kid in a basement compete with a Fortune 500 company. We're seeing that shift again with AI. A small startup can now wield the same analytical and creative firepower as a global enterprise. But access to tools has never been the differentiator. Holding a paintbrush doesn't make you an artist. That's what we're digging into in this month's newsletter: how startups and established companies alike are using AI to punch above their weight, without losing the craft that actually makes the work good. Inside: → The exact “Unfair Advantage" AI toolkit our team is pressure-testing → Kat Weaver on using no-code AI tools to cut $1,400/month in software costs and help her startup clients raise more funds. → Our dev team on how AI shifted their work from writing code to designing systems → A spotlight on Jesse Shauffer, our CTO and the technical backbone of everything we build Subscribe by clicking below.

  • We’re wrapping up our State of AI Survey and would value your input. The goal of this survey is to better understand how organizations are currently using AI, where they’re seeing real impact, and where challenges still exist. These insights will help us identify meaningful trends and share practical takeaways that can benefit the broader community. If you have 2 minutes, we’d appreciate your perspective: https://lnkd.in/ev8vTmAD We’ll be sharing the full results with anyone who opts in at the end. The survey is completely anonymous, whether you choose to opt in or not.

It was great to see Jonathan Gilbert, PhD on stage at Lab of the Future! We are proud to be the federated infrastructure powering the TuneLab program at Eli Lilly. A huge thank you to the NVIDIA team for their continued partnership. The Rhino platform is powered by NVIDIA FLARE, a domain-agnostic, open-source SDK that remains at the heart of our federated learning capabilities. Chester Chen, Holger R. Roth, Kimberly Powell, Rory Kelleher, Stacie Calad-Thomson, PhD, thank you for the incredible support!

  • Check out the latest edition of The Scaler Spark and take a minute to think about your company. Is your brand aligned? Are you showing up well, and consistently wherever people find you? There are some key factors to consider, and we lay them all out for you in this month's edition of The Scaler Spark.

The March edition of The Scaler Spark just dropped.   This month, we're digging into something that quietly kills deals: brand inconsistency.   When your trade show booth feels premium but your website feels "meh," you've created a visual jump. That split-second of confusion where a prospect double-checks if they're still looking at the same company? That's friction. And friction costs momentum.   We're also featuring an incredible guest: Laura Haldane, co-founder of SciLeads.   Laura has built one of the industry's most successful lead generation platforms and has a refreshingly honest take on leadership: "You don't need to change yourself to lead. Being your authentic self will come across a lot better than whatever corporate vision you think you need to be."   Plus: → The 50-point confidence gap (what 100+ scientific leaders revealed at SLAS2026) → A spotlight on our work with Rhino Federated Computing → A quick brand alignment audit you can do yourself   If your brand is leaking energy instead of creating it, this one's for you.   Link to subscribe: https://lnkd.in/edHwmfm6

  • Our Chief Growth Officer, Jack Boeger, understands that marketing is not an art to be deciding on a feeling. Marketing, and more specifically in Jack's case, SEO, is a science, meant to be tried and tested, while following the data all along the way.

"My website gets no leads." I hear this exact sentence on almost every discovery call. Most founders do not know their click-through rates. They do not care about search volume. They just know the phone is not ringing and the pipeline is dry. The reason is simple. You are breaking a promise to the user. If your ad or search listing promises to solve a specific problem, but your website just delivers a generic sales pitch, the user leaves. You paid for the click, but you lost the customer. There is only one KPI that actually matters. Satisfying intent. I wrote a manifesto on exactly how to fix this and stitch the user journey back together. Swipe through the carousel to see where your marketing budget is dying. Hit the link to read the full strategy. • We asked 100+ scientific leaders at #SLAS2026: "If you could fix one thing about your website, what would it be?"   The #1 answer wasn't design. Wasn't speed. Wasn't lead gen.   It was messaging and positioning. (33.9%)   Add in "deeper technical clarity" (18.4%) and over half said the same thing: We need to be clearer about who we are and what we do.   Scientific companies have incredible technology. Brilliant teams. Real differentiation.   But their websites bury it in jargon, vague claims, and "innovative solutions for complex challenges."   Your prospect lands on your homepage and thinks: "Okay, but what do you actually do?" The fix isn't a redesign. It's a rethink.   We surveyed 100+ leaders at SLAS2026 and put together a full report on the confidence gap in scientific websites. Link to the full report can be found in the comments.

Do you want to use LinkedIn more to sell/market to scientists (or just grow your network) but you absolutely CRINGE at the thought of posting stuff? I hear you. The great news is you don't need to be an influencer to succeed with LI. I'm doing a webinar on the 19th of Feb to show three excellent ways to level up your LI network. 1) I'm going to tell you how to get to 20k followers without posting anything. No creativity just cold hard numbers and techniques. And how to get people to respond to messages. 2) Chris will show you what happens when you hit the 30k connection limit and how you engage with a scientific audience without constantly creating content. 3) David will chat about how to use your own personal brand to connect with your audience. And ill do a real time critique session on anyone brave enough to submit their LI profiles for audit 😏
