Safety starts with awareness and the courage to act. During school dismissal, Officer Wahad Muhammad identified a suspicious individual, monitored concerning behavior, questioned inconsistent explanations, and enforced school safety protocols. His calm authority and readiness to escalate appropriately ensured the individual left campus before the situation could escalate. Wahad's vigilance, integrity, and strong commitment to protecting students and staff played a critical role in keeping the community safe. We applaud his actions and are proud to have dedicated professionals like Wahad safeguarding our communities every day.
