About us
Everyone who seeks our help deserves to overcome addiction and enjoy a life of sustained recovery. That’s why Wellbridge exists. But these aren’t just words. Our actions are making them a statement of fact. You see, addiction never stands still. So, neither do we. We resolutely understand that addiction is a disease. And like all serious diseases, defeating it requires newer, better and more comprehensive treatments. By combining compassionate care that respects the dignity of our patients with leading-edge science, Wellbridge is doing just that. Only in this way can those suffering from addiction receive the individualized treatment that’s right for them. As a result, Wellbridge is creating the solutions that will finally liberate our patients, their loved ones and, someday soon, people everywhere from the trials of addiction.

At Wellbridge, we’re proud to recognize and celebrate Creative Arts Therapy Week 2026 🎨 Every patient engages in Art Psychotherapy, creating space to explore the subconscious, process trauma, and better understand the connection to substance use. Through groups like Exploring Trauma Through Clay, Somatic Art Therapy, Nature-Based Art Making, and Journaling, patients rediscover creativity, reconnect with their inner selves, and find new ways to express what words often can’t. Creative Arts Therapy is a powerful, evidence-based approach that supports healing of the mind, body, and spirit—and we’re grateful for the clinicians who bring this work to life every day.

Yesterday we held another Scoop for Recovery, one of our favorite monthly traditions on campus. During this event, our COO, Steve Wicke, and Co-Founder, Andrew Drazan, serve ice cream to both patients and staff as a chance for everyone to pause, connect, and enjoy a moment together. Recovery is about more than clinical work—it’s also about building community, creating positive experiences, and learning how to have fun in healthy ways. Events like Scoop for Recovery give our patients and team members an opportunity to step away from their daily routines, share a laugh, and enjoy the simple things together. At Wellbridge, we believe moments of connection like these are an important part of the recovery journey. #RecoveryCommunity #Wellbridge #RecoveryInAction #CommunityInRecovery
