  • Barcode vs. RFID: which one wins? 🚨🛜 We just launched the Xemelgo Experience Center, a browser-based mini-game that tests RFID's speed and accuracy against traditional barcode scanning, right from your desktop browser. No hardware required. Just a keyboard, a mouse, and a mission to beat the clock. There's so much more RFID can do than most people realize, and this game gives you that "ah-ha" moment without needing any hardware to experience it firsthand. 📰 Read the announcement: https://lnkd.in/g3SXZC3F 🕹️ Play the game: https://lnkd.in/g6QTqNHn How fast can you complete the mission? Can you scan with perfect accuracy? Play, share your score, and tag a colleague who thinks their scanning game is strong. #RFID | #SupplyChain | #Warehousing | #Logistics | #Manufacturing | #Retail | #Healthcare

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐑𝐅𝐈𝐃 𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 Xemelgo and Zebra Technologies are helping law enforcement organizations automatically track critical equipment, verify tactical kits in seconds, monitor asset assignments and ensure items such as body armor are not issued beyond their expiration dates. Instead of manually searching for 1,000 assets, RFID can immediately identify the four that are missing. Teams can focus on the exception rather than counting everything else. It is a great example of how RFID transforms asset tracking from a manual back-office process into a real-time operational capability. https://lnkd.in/gsd77kx5 Police1

I love seeing what my friends at Xemelgo and SLS (a Levata Company) are up to in the RFID world!

Renegade Materials Corp. is one of my accounts, and this success story really belongs to Steve and his team. From day one, they made it a point to be hands-on, not just watching the system run, but making sure they understood both the hardware and software well enough to actively shape it. That mindset is what got the sensors dialed in and the data reliable for them to fully realize the power of Xemelgo. And they didn't stop there. Once the data was solid, they came back with ideas on how to actually put it to work — ideas that directly shaped the customizable dashboard we built into the product. That's the real story here: a partner who dives in, stays engaged, and shows up wanting to get the most out of it. I am proud to have been a part of their journey! #RFID #CustomerSuccess #Aerospace #Partnership

Renegade Materials Corp. had already proven that RFID technology would work for them using freezer-mounted readers from Impinj. So when they came across Xemelgo's work in aerospace through CompositesWorld, they were ready to scale it across their operations. "Xemelgo gives us better information with less administrative effort, while providing a system that can scale with our growth." — Steve Hoffman, Operations Manager, Renegade Materials Renegade makes high-performance composite materials for defense, commercial, and aerospace, where every material carries a strict thermal exposure limit once it leaves the freezer. Xemelgo now tracks that exposure automatically, replacing manual logs with real-time visibility. Incora needed precise, real-time visibility into inventory moving through its distribution centers. By combining Xemelgo’s cloud-based RFID software with Zebra Technologies fixed readers, Incora can track inventory across racking aisles and open floor areas, follow its movement, and quickly identify its last-known location. The result: more than a 95% reduction in inventory search time. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐙𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: https://lnkd.in/g4qzZJFv

Super proud of our Xemelgo team for helping 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚 transform inventory visibility across multiple distribution centers in North America using Zebra Technologies RFID technology. The result: a more than 95% reduction in time spent locating inventory. Special thanks to Tani Vatoci, Tyler Moore and the entire CONTROLTEK team for the deployment expertise that helped bring this solution to life. If anything moves outside its expected path, we can pull up that carton in Xemelgo and see exactly where it was last located."

One of the most important ideas in Physical AI is also one of the easiest to miss: a sensor event has no business meaning on its own. An RFID read does not know whether an item was received, shipped, completed, staged, counted, or simply passed by. The intelligence comes from the operational context around that read. In her latest article, our Xemelgo CTO Akhila Tadinada explains why every sensor needs a “job description,” and why the real challenge is not collecting more data. It is digitizing the judgment that experienced operators apply every day. That is what turns sensor activity into trusted business transactions and makes automation scalable across factories and warehouses. This is an important piece on where Physical AI is really headed.
