Adam Taher Ghali shared thisWhat’s your service absorption rate right now? If you don't know that, you are failing as a GM. A GM who can’t quote absorption in seconds isn’t controlling the fixed ops. He’s adjusting to it. Service absorption isn’t just a vanity metric. It’s the store’s survival ratio. It tells you how much of your fixed overhead is covered by parts and service alone. Once absorption drops out of control, everything else follows. ⇰ Units get pushed harder than they should. ⇰ Gross gets sacrificed for volume. ⇰ Deals get structured for survival, not strategy. A strong GM doesn’t discover absorption at month-end. He: ✔️ Tracks it daily ✔️ Knows what moves it. ✔️ Fixes it immediately. 🔒 Save this post to diagnose where your store is actually losing money. 🔔 Follow Adam Taher Ghali for dealership systems that protect gross and absorption.

Adam Taher Ghali shared thisBad service structure makes dealerships lose thousands of dollars daily. If you are still managing it like it's 2015, you’re allowing the loss. It doesn’t show up as one big problem. It shows up as: ⇒ 10 empty slots a day ⇒ $40 underpriced labor per RO ⇒ Advisors wasting hours on manual work That’s how dealerships' profit decreases without warning. Strong service departments don’t rely on effort. They rely on systems. AI can help you fix the process and get that revenue back: Use Manus to manage missed appointments. Use Gemini to protect your margin. Comment {Service Stack} and I’ll send you the automation flow my team uses to generate more revenue from service drive.

Adam Taher Ghali shared thisIn 20 years across rooftops, I’ve never seen volume fix weak fixed ops math. Your service drive doesn’t lose money in big events. Margins are chipped away at these 7 loss points every single day. Small inefficiencies per RO stack into a major margin loss. And by the time it shows up in financials, it’s already too late. This is why busy service drives still miss absorption targets. ⇒ Low ELR lowers profit per RO ⇒ Bad tech productivity increases labor cost ⇒ Advisor inefficiency reduces billable hours ⇒ No follow-up on declined work means lost revenue ⇒ Cheap internal RO pricing weakens overall gross ⇒ Untracked comebacks keep adding repeat cost ⇒ Aging parts lock cash in dead inventory Fixing this isn’t about more traffic. It’s about tightening labor efficiency, ELR discipline, follow-up process, and parts control. 🔔 Follow Adam Taher Ghali for no-fluff insights on ELR, absorption, and service drive efficiency.

Adam Taher Ghali reposted thisSales Managers, do you know why your inventory posts get ignored? Because you’re posting content that looks exactly like your competitors. ⇒ Generic words. ⇒ Flat tone. ⇒ Stock-style photos. That's not how cars are sold! Here’s what actually works: ✅ Real-time trends to guide the angle ✅ Human-sounding copy that sells ✅ Visuals that create emotion That’s the difference between posting and selling. We use a 3-tool system to do it right: ✦ Gemini → Identifies buyer intent ✴️ Claude → Writes like a human 🍌 NanoBanana → Create premium scroll-stopping visuals If you want to build an AI system that creates high-converting inventory content, Comment [Sales Stack]. I’ll drop the complete structure with exact prompts in your inbox.

Adam Taher Ghali reposted thisDealership managers, a busy service drive doesn’t guarantee strong margins. It usually just makes inefficiency harder to see. Your dealership can still be losing money on every RO. Because profit isn’t decided by activity. It’s decided by margins, efficiency, and control. ⇒ Weak ELR trades margin for volume ⇒ Service shortfall gets passed to sales ⇒ Missed labor hours make you lose profits ⇒ Poor pricing keeps your margin low The issue doesn’t show up as a sudden drop. It builds quietly in daily operations. Fixing this doesn’t require more traffic or more work. It requires tighter control over ELR, consistent labor, and better pricing. Once you get these right, you'll see the positive results in your P&L. ♻️ Repost to help a dealership manager who needs to see this. 🔔 Follow Adam Taher Ghali for real dealership breakdowns on profit, cash flow, and ops performance.

Adam Taher Ghali reposted thisAutomotive Sales Managers, how many questions do you ask before penciling? Do you know the ACV, credit tier, and verified source of funds? If not, you’re losing deals before the negotiation even starts. Bad structure at the desk leads to: ⇒ Rewrites in F&I ⇒ Payment conflicts ⇒ Lower PVR than expected Because once the structure is wrong, everything downstream becomes damage control. That’s why I built a 12-question desk checklist my team uses before any deal is penciled. It includes: 🟥 Questions to ask before every deal 🟥 Numbers managers must know 🟥 Deal health warning signs 🟥 Simple rules to prevent payment conflicts If you want this complete desk framework, comment “Desk” and I’ll send it to you.

Adam Taher Ghali liked thisAdam Taher Ghali liked thisEveryone keeps saying the buying experience needs to be simpler. But the deal behind the scenes keeps getting more complicated. Most of the conversation stops at the dealership level. What doesn’t get talked about enough is what sits behind the deal. OEM incentives. Both for the customer… and for the dealer. Customer incentives aren’t simple. They depend on the customer, the timing, and whether everything checks out, so there’s always a layer of validation behind them. Then there’s the dealer side. Stair-step programs, volume targets, and time-based incentives all tied to when deals happen, not just how they’re structured. That complexity exists before the dealership even touches the deal. Now layer that on top of a store that’s already working through negotiation, variable pricing, and month-end pressure. From the customer’s side, none of that is visible. They just see numbers that don’t always line up between what they saw online, what they’ve heard others got, and what they’re being offered now. It feels inconsistent, even when everyone involved is following the rules. If the goal is to simplify the buying experience, it can’t just happen at the front end. The structure behind the deal has to be just as clean. Otherwise you’re asking the dealership to simplify something that’s complex by design.

Adam Taher Ghali liked thisAdam Taher Ghali liked thisApril may have felt like a stop-start month. Short weeks, interrupted routines, cautious customers, affordability concerns, fuel price pressure, and a market that did not always move at the pace we wanted. But here is the important part. A difficult month does not mean the opportunity is gone. It means the approach must become sharper. Customers are still buying. Families still need vehicles. Businesses still need mobility. Trade-ins still need replacing. Finance applications are still being submitted. The market has not disappeared. It has simply become more selective. That is where the professional must step forward. In May 2026, the focus cannot be on what we cannot control. We can control our activity, attitude, follow-up, preparation, product knowledge, response time, appointment setting, test drives, customer care, and daily discipline. That is where motivation starts. Not with hype. Not with panic. Not with waiting for the market to improve, but with action. The first step is to reset mentally. Do not carry April’s frustration into May. Learn from it, close the file, and start with a clean page. Ask yourself the right questions. Which April leads need a fresh follow-up? Which customers were not contacted properly? Which trade-ins can be reviewed again? Which finance deals can be restructured? Which service customers can be approached? Which old enquiries deserve a new conversation? In a tough market, motivation often comes after movement, not before it. Set daily non-negotiables. Make the calls. Confirm the appointments. Follow up properly. Ask for referrals. Revisit old leads. Know your product. Understand affordability. Create test-drive opportunities. Speak with confidence. Stay visible. Do not only sell price. Sell value. Speak about affordability, fuel efficiency, warranty, service plans, safety, trade-in support, finance structure, ownership costs, and long-term peace of mind. Customers under pressure do not only need a discount. They need guidance. They need someone who can say: “Let us look at the right vehicle, the right structure, and the right monthly comfort for your situation.” That is professionalism. May 2026 is not the month to complain about conditions. It is the month to sharpen the basics. Follow up faster. Listen better. Structure smarter. Prepare harder. Prospect daily. Protect your attitude. Serve every customer properly. Difficult markets reveal the difference between people who only perform when conditions are easy and professionals who know how to create opportunity when conditions are challenging. Do not try to fix the whole month in one day. Win the first call. Win the first appointment. Win the first test drive. Win the first follow-up. Win the morning. Then win the afternoon. Then win the week. The month will follow. May 2026 is a reset. Refocus. Reconnect. Rebuild. And move with purpose.
