Which got me thinking — what if you could do the same for film financing? Over the past year, that's what I set out to build. And today I'm proud to announce Teche™ — a Mac desktop application that lets you model your entire capital stack in real time. Equity, tax credits, debt, recoupment — and flowing through waterfall recoupment scenarios. You start with estimates and as the deal comes together, you can see exactly how terms with lenders and investors affect the outcome. From estimated to actual. If you're a producer, financier, or just curious — I'd love your thoughts. Try it free for 14 days at filmcappro.com

A new episode of the ALWELLCO Podcast is live. This discussion features Corey Keller, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University and clinician at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Dr. Keller leads the Stanford Precision Neurotherapeutics Lab, where his work focuses on the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, and psychiatry. He aims to understand how brain stimulation technologies alter neural circuits and how these treatments can be made more precise, personalized, and effective. In this episode, we delve into the following topics: - The true nature of brain stimulation and its differences from medications and historical portrayals of psychiatry. - The role of TMS in modern mental health care and the challenges of access, personalization, and measurement. - Insights on biomarkers, brain mapping, state-dependent stimulation, and closed-loop systems, and their potential impact on treatment in the next 5 to 10 years. - How brain stimulation can complement medication, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions rather than replace them. This episode provides a grounded, science-driven perspective on the current state of mental health treatment and its future direction. Dr. Ronald Klatz, MD, DO Worldhealth.net A powerful new UCLA Health study is raising urgent alarms about a #pesticide still used on crops around the world. Researchers found that long‑term residential exposure to #chlorpyrifos is linked to more than a 2.5‑times higher risk of developing #Parkinson’s disease. By pairing real‑world exposure data with experiments in mice and zebrafish, the team showed how the chemical harms dopamine‑producing neurons, disrupts the brain’s protein‑clearing systems, and triggers #inflammation, all hallmarks of Parkinson’s. Although residential use was banned years ago, agricultural use continues in parts of the U.S. and remains widespread globally. That means millions of people may still be at risk. The findings underscore the need for stronger environmental protections and earlier neurological monitoring for those with known exposure. They also point to new therapeutic pathways that could help shield vulnerable brain cells from damage. #neuroscience #Parkinsonsdisease #brainresearch #neurology #publichealth #pesticides #worldhealth #health #wellness Reference: https://lnkd.in/gZRbgi_T

Reposting a clip from my conversation on Pioneers of AI with Rana el Kaliouby, Ph.D. AI isn’t just revolutionizing performance for elite athletes but upgrading how all of us interpret our bodies. The breakthrough is simple: personal baselines + earlier detection of changing capacity and recovery needs. The question I care about most is: What can my body absorb and adapt to today? Not just in training but across stress, travel, sleep, and workload. When interpretation gets smarter, decisions get simpler. And that’s the future I’m building toward with revvel

At Judi Health, we believe in confronting the uncomfortable realities in our industry and finding solutions for them. A. J. Loiacono recently spoke at the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences about a critical issue: too many Americans are hit with the highest #healthcare costs simply because the system wasn’t built with them in mind. Conversations like this push us forward. Take a look! 👀

Care Mojo • 5K followers
Building Care Mojo has given me the opportunity to learn from families, caregivers, and home care leaders. One thing has become increasingly clear: dementia care can’t stop at scheduled care hours. Families need visibility. Caregivers need context. Agencies need better ways to support both. Looking forward to attending CAHSAH later this month and learning from the people working to improve care at home every day.
