The Rossman Award, established in 1972, is given annually to the author of a journal article that, in the opinion of the judges, makes the greatest contribution to the field of patents, trademarks, or copyrights.

Selected from among 30 entries by a panel of faculty members and attorneys affiliated with the Georgia State Law Intellectual Property Advisory Board. IDEA®: The Intellectual Property Law Review, looks for original, publishable papers addressing compelling issues in intellectual property law. To be eligible for consideration, the paper must focus on intellectual property law and have been written solely by a student. Nationwide writing competition.

Established by the friends and family of Thalia Warnement and her colleagues at the firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, the Scholarship is awarded to one worthy William & Mary Law student who intends to pursue a career in intellectual property law.

Given to the student who has led the single most successful effort at fostering an inclusive campus.

In 1987, the Student Association (now the Student Assembly) established an award to honor well-rounded graduating students — both graduate and undergraduate — who best exemplify a liberal arts education through their activities and academic studies. Recipients are selected on the basis of their outstanding participation and leadership on campus and/or community activities, and on the basis of their service and contribution to the school or community.

One fraternity member and one sorority member are selected each year to be recognized as outstanding members of the William and Mary Greek community. These individuals embody the ideals of what it is to be a fraternity man or sorority woman at the College of William & Mary; they also live out the purpose of their own organization through their actions and attitude. The Walk the Talk Senior Awards recognize up to eight graduating seniors for their long-term commitment to enhancing the quality of life of community members.

This award recognizes a man or woman who has demonstrated a caring and giving attitude to his or her service not only to the Greek community but also to the entire college community and beyond. This student should have a spirit of giving and dedication and should give of himself/herself wholeheartedly.

The Sharpe Community Scholars Program strives to support the development of select first-year students through the integration of academic studies, research and community engagement. Sharpe Scholars receive extensive support from William & Mary professors, upper level Teaching Fellows, and community professionals who are committed to developing student leaders prepared to take-on new challenges and to promote transformative social and structural change.
