Gary Ceder shared thisThis morning, Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) announced another outstanding quarter of financial results and based on our strong performance this year, we are raising our 2026 guidance for Adjusted EPS growth. This quarter, we didn't just meet expectations, we raised them, setting several company records, and it feels incredibly to be a part of that success: · 11% revenue growth, reaching the highest second-quarter total revenue in our history. · 27% Leasing revenue growth and 7% Services revenue growth, resulting in the highest second-quarter Leasing and Services revenue in our history. · The lowest gross debt balance in our history. We are builders, and these results reflect disciplined execution of our strategy. More importantly, they are organic, driven by the strength of our global platform, the quality of our client relationships and the work we do every day. What excites me most is that we are still in the early stages of our current three-year growth plan and we’re building momentum. Gary Ceder shared thisInevitably, some of the first questions that I tend to hear in my day-to-day client interactions revolve around return-to-office. What are the prevailing averages? How much does it vary by submarket? By industry? By job title? By department? By specialty? Even if you only monitor or observe those kinds of trends from afar, it makes for interesting fodder at most business functions because it touches many of us and impacts our working lives. The latest edition of Cushman & Wakefield Research’s Office Visitation Recovery analysis through the end of the second quarter for Manhattan only begins to scratch the surface. Attached is the brief infographic. For ease of reference, I’ve summarized it into a few key takeaways: - Manhattan visitation reached a quarterly post-pandemic record average of 81.7% recovery from the baseline in the second quarter of 2026, 390 basis points (bps) over the second-quarter 2025 average of 77.9%. - Midtown visitation levels averaged 86.4%, up 450 bps from the second-quarter average of 81.9% in 2025. - Midtown South registered visitation levels of 76.5%, a jump of 440 bps over the previous year. - Downtown recorded visitation levels of 69.9%, an increase of 130 bps year-over-year. Gary Ceder posted thisLeasing activity across the financial sector, while strong, displayed mixed results at the end of Q2, but it also necessitates some context. YTD totals are up yet down in Q2 year-over-year. Why is that? Well, for starters, all sectors are prone to natural ebbs and flows. Keep in mind that the timing for when leases are signed is as much a function of the available product as it is the tenants in the market. As finance continues to pine for space in the more desirable Class A buildings, coupled with the sheer volume of companies simultaneously looking and the dearth of new construction delivering to the market, volume signed in any one quarter is apt to display ups and downs. Below are some key takeaways from Cushman & Wakefield Research's latest industry spotlight series on financial services: · New leasing by financial services firms fell to 1.0 million square feet (msf) in Q2 2026, down 21.8% year-over-year (YOY) and the lowest quarterly level since Q4 2022 · New leasing remains up on a year-to-date (YTD) basis, totaling 4.6 msf, an increase of 30.6% compared to the first half of 2025 · Renewal activity in Q2 2026 totaled 588,755 square feet (sf), an increase of 23.8% YOY · Financial services firms accounted for 63.0% of new leases 10,000 sf and above Downtown YTD, up from 24.8% between 2020 and 2025 Park Avenue, Madison/Fifth, and Sixth Avenue/Rock Center submarkets led activity, together accounting for 50.3% of leasing volume in the quarter Thoughts? Gary Ceder posted thisAs the never-ending debate continues around the extent of Manhattan's return to pre-pandemic leasing levels across the legal sector, consider the following statistics from Cushman & Wakefield's latest industry spotlight: Key Takeaways · New leasing by law firms totaled 2.0 million square feet (msf) in Q2 2026, increasing 153.9% year-over-year to reach the highest quarterly total on record · New leasing in the legal sector year-to-date surpassed 2.5 msf, exceeding the full-year total recorded in every year over the past decade · Five of the six new leases over 100,000 square feet (sf) transacted in Q2 2026 were by law firms, led by Simpson Thacher’s 916,000-sf new lease to anchor 570 Fifth Avenue, which was the largest lease by a law firm in New York City’s history · Relocation and expansion activity continued to dominate legal sector leasing in 1H 2026, as renewals accounted for just 12 of 62 completed transactions. At 660,075 sf, renewals represented only 20.6% of the 3.2 msf leased, a significant decline from 37.2% in the first half of 2025 · Average asking rents within Core Legal assets have surged by 8.5% to $99.33 per square foot over the past year, largely due to increases in pricing among trophy assets When we looking ahead to what the next 6, 12, or 18 months may forebode, legal will continue to be a strong measure of overall performance, followed closely by big finance, banking, and tech. A few key takeaways we've uncovered indicate the following: · Technology leasing totaled 3.5 million square feet (msf) through the first half of 2026, a 55.0% increase year-over-year (YOY) and the strongest H1 performance recorded in more than one decade. · AI occupiers remained the primary driver of activity, generating 1.7 msf of technology leasing volume year-to-date (YTD) and accounting for 52.3% of overall demand. · Larger commitments continued to drive activity, as the average new lease size reached 25,517 square feet (sf), up 17.9% YOY, supported by eight transactions exceeding 50,000 sf. · Midtown South maintained its position as the preferred destination for technology occupiers, capturing 2.2 msf of leasing activity YTD, or 63.4% of total sector demand. · Madison/Union Square led all submarkets in technology leasing volume during the first half of the year, accounting for 29.0% of activity, followed closely by Hudson Square/West Village at 26.8%. #commercialrealestate #technologysector #industryspotlight #officeleasing

I’m generally pretty comfortable traveling but I did stumble around a bit, challenged to figure out how to use the subways, trying to subtlety use ChatGPT to translate menus, finding where to park and even simple things like where to find bathrooms or how to count out change, coin by coin, without feeling like a buffoon (I failed). Most shamefully, I had to rely on others to use my language because I didn’t have the ability to use theirs despite being in their countries. It’s humbling to feel like an outsider, not knowing the systems, getting in everyone's way and wasting everyone’s time. Many times I had to rely on the patience and kindness of strangers. All that is to say that I have a newfound appreciation for those that come to my city, New York, to carve out new lives and manage to not only survive but thrive here. It’s not necessarily an easy city, even for full-timers. I’ve got a number of foreign clients. I am astounded by their principals’ ability to not only function on a high personal level, but to do so while building successful businesses. And forgetting about the basics, but to then have to muddle through esoteric stuff like office lease language, construction, zoning, legal contracts etc…I would struggle massively if I were in their shoes. So to those people, and others like them, thank you. (Of all the photos I took, this one seemed most fitting)

Just welcomed my 18th incoming class of Whitman undergraduates, along with our newest graduate students - and the numbers tell a great story: 3.85 average GPA and 1363 average SAT, both all-time highs for Whitman. Add in 130+ transfer students and 100(!) full-time MBA/MS students, and it's clear the future of business really is Orange. Numbers like these don't happen by accident. They're the result of a team that works all year to recruit, admit, and welcome students who will thrive here, and then shows up in a big way to make sure they feel it from day one. So proud of everyone who had a hand in this (too many people to tag - they know I'm eternally grateful for their commitment to excellence). Seeing the Big Red network of staff, faculty, students, and families come together during this time of excitement, exploration, and transition was incredibly humbling. Throughout the week, I had the opportunity to participate in move-in, Big Red Welcome, and orientation. I also had the honor of being a panelist on the Cornell Career Network's family orientation panel, alongside an incredible group of accomplished career leaders. What is evident from my 5 weeks here so far is that Cornellians are curious, resilient, passionate, innovative, and multifaceted. They are bound to make a true impact within communities and organizations. I look forward to meeting many more Cornell University - College of Human Ecology students as we kick off the start of the semester on Monday!

Adding to that energy are the impressive numbers and demographics that these new students bring to the Orange family. We’re also welcoming approximately 130 transfer students, our strongest transfer number in recent years. At the graduate level, approximately 100 full-time MBA and M.S. students are joining Whitman, including our largest MBA cohort in more than a decade. Together, these students represent 16 countries across five continents. The numbers are impressive, but what excites me most is what they represent: talented students choosing Whitman from across the country and around the world.
