Jazmine Batista liked thisJazmine Batista liked thisThis month, I closed a defining chapter of my career as I transitioned from Blink Charging to pursue a new venture. The decision was difficult, with so much work left unfinished, but the ascent of this industry will only happen once and the time was right. The last four years have flown by and there was never a dull moment in this ever evolving EV market. Highlighting some of my proudest accomplishments: •Produced over $100m in automotive sales for a vertical I assumed at just a $5m annual run rate. We scaled the overall business from a $20m revenue run rate to a peak of $160m, during my tenure. •Named Automotive News Rising Stars recipient in 2023, an award for leaders in the industry driving business and technological advancements. •Grew Blink into the 5th largest DC Fast Charging Network in the US. When I joined, the business was a Level 2 powerhouse sitting at #2, only behind ChargePoint but with just a couple hundred DCFC ports in the field. Fast forward to today and they now sit at over 3,000 (1900 public); a feat Electrify America and EVgo only achieved in 2022 and 2024. •Setting the stage for Blink to deploy hundreds of Owner Operated DCFC stalls in 2026 to drive highly profitable recurring revenue. Moving beyond legacy offerings, these Fast Chargers will be industry leading with 500kW speeds, NACS and CCS in all stalls, and with the ultra reliability Kempower hardware has proven globally. While there's countless memorable relationships I've built within and outside of Blink, credit goes to now CEO Mike Battaglia for bringing me on board and giving me the opportunity to grow professionally in several strategic roles. First passing me the baton to run the Automotive vertical and expand strategic relationships with the OEMs to then running all Business Development. And later allowing me to run the DCFC CPO strategy as the company looks to make a strategic pivot. Mike is the embodiment of servant leadership and tirelessly leads the organization with humility. I'm a better operator, and a better leader, thanks to his mentorship. As for what’s next? Stay tuned for a MEGA announcement, coming very soon.

Jazmine Batista liked thisJazmine Batista liked thisToday my husband and I packed up our car and 2 children (2 years and 2 months) and prepared to drive across the state of North Carolina in his Model 3. Traveling with children this young is already stressful with extra stops, so adding the unknowns of charging with our first cross-state trek in a full EV through Helene-impacted areas was a bit daunting. We also were on a tight timeline trying to make it home in time for a birthday party so when we hit the road at 7:30 this morning for our 6 hour (per GPS) drive, I was pre-writing the apology text for missing the party to send in a few hours. I can now report from the comfort of my home 7 hours after leaving (and 30 minutes before the party) that it was the easiest drive I think we have ever done. We made it to our first planned stop just in time for coffee and to feed our daughter, which timed perfectly with our 30 minute charge. Our second stop of the trip happened 40 minutes prior to our planned stop, but worked perfectly as there were chargers available at the top of the stop we pulled off on, so we were fed, de-wiggled for the toddler, and fully charged - ready for afternoon naps as we piled back on the road for a straight shot back to the house and arriving at 40%!
