Why architecture reviews should include finance Cloud cost isn’t a billing problem. It’s the result of architecture decisions made early — often without finance in the room. When finance only sees production systems: • Decisions are already locked • Conversations turn reactive • Trust erodes Strong teams bring finance into design-time discussions, not post-mortems. This is a pattern we see repeatedly while building CrftInfrai. #CloudArchitecture #FinOps #Leadership #Startups #PlatformEngineering #DecisionIntelligence

Healthcare data breaches cost $10.93M per incident. In this article, you'll learn about encryption, HIPAA compliance, and privacy-by-design architecture for secure speech-to-text deployment. We'll examine the privacy challenges, regulatory frameworks, and architectures that determine whether voice AI deployments succeed or create compliance liabilities. Link: https://lnkd.in/gpP9YCSP

If you're using Claude Code, you've probably heard about MCPs But quietly, the power users are shifting to CLIs. Here's why that matters...even if you're not technical. MCP (Model Context Protocol) connects AI to other apps in real time. Think of it like giving Claude a direct line to your Google Drive. It works, but setup can be finicky and you're relying on the AI to figure out what to do with the access CLI (Command Line Interface) tools are different They're pre-built commands that do one thing really well. Type a simple instruction, the tool executes it. No dropped connections Why the shift is happening: → CLIs are more reliable → They're faster → They're easier to repeat → Claude Code makes CLIs feel conversational For marketers and GTM teams this helps unlock true AI automation If you want to start somewhere practical, look at the Google Workspace CLI Pull reports from Sheets, search Drive, manage Calendar from one interface that plays nicely with AI tools Give it a try

You hire a contractor. By week three, they're gone. Structured onboarding improves retention by 82%. The first two weeks set the tone for everything. Three things work: Environment parity >>> Exact PHP version, WordPress version, Git workflow. No surprises. One documentation page >>> Answers the 20 questions they'll ask in week one. Graded ramp-up >>> Start small. Increase complexity over five tickets. Then give feedback. Treat them like partners, not vendors. Contractors who feel competent and trusted stick around. Ones who feel disposable leave. Learn the playbook: https://lnkd.in/g3eQBwU3 #Hiring #Contractors #Webmastered #WebDevelopment #WhiteLabel

I was reading about Lee Robinson migrating cursor.com from a headless CMS back to raw code and Markdown. Estimated time: 1-2 weeks, probably with agency help. Actual time: 3 days, $260 in tokens, working with AI agents. While the speed he delivered it in is exciting, it's why he did it that is interesting to me. The CMS was preventing agents from helping. Content pulled over the network wasn't in the repo—agents couldn't grep it, couldn't edit it with a simple prompt. His line that stuck with me: "With AI and coding agents, the cost of an abstraction has never been higher." Here's the thing: agents work best in text, not UIs. My mind naturally goes to business automation tools. UI-first tools like Power Automate and Zapier weren't designed to be text-first. They grew up in an age where abstracting the text away from users was a design goal. Now that things have changed, they're faced with a challenge. When they bolt on code or agent interfaces, it's an abstraction on the abstraction. Which doesn't seem like a particularly good design pattern. If you're not using these tools yet, I wonder if they make sense today. If you are, is the UI first approach holding you back? https://leerob.com/agents
