Ray Titus shared thisOne of the things I enjoy most is spending time with students who are preparing to take the next step in their careers. I recently had the opportunity to speak with the Franchise Management and Operations class at the Titus Center for Franchising. We discussed United Franchise Group's expansion into Australia, but our conversation quickly turned to something much bigger: building a career that's grounded in your values and guided by your faith. Careers will take unexpected turns, but your character will influence every opportunity that follows. Your integrity, your work ethic, and the way you treat people will shape your reputation long before your résumé does. As these students prepare to enter the business world, I hope they remember that success isn't defined by your first job title or how quickly you move up the ladder. It's earned by earning trust through consistent effort, continuing to learn, and staying true to the principles that guide you. Thank you to the Titus Center for the invitation. This is an important investment in the future of business education in West Palm Beach. Spaces like this do more than support learning in the classroom. They create opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and real-world preparation for the next generation of leaders. It was especially meaningful for my family to see the Titus Lecture Hall become part of this new chapter. We have long believed in the power of education, entrepreneurship, and giving students the tools to lead with confidence and purpose. In my latest Forbes article, I share one of the sales principles I believe in most: fanatical prospecting, a concept popularized by Jeb Blount. Sales success comes from keeping the pipeline full through consistent, direct action. That means making the calls, setting the meetings, building relationships, and staying focused even when business is already strong.
