The signature offering from the National Association of Climate Resilience Planners (NACRP), Vision Power Solutions (VPS) is designed to build capacity for community-driven planning among facilitators, organizers, leaders, and educators who are accountable to Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian/Pacific Islander (API) communities. Each session blends interactive tools, storytelling, peer-learning, and shared frameworks designed to support a growing community of planners navigate some of today's most pressing challenges—particularly within an evolving and complex political landscape. Across the country, organizers, facilitators, grassroot groups, community based organizations, neighborhood associations, community planners, etc. are advancing community-driven climate resilience planning in regions where state or local politics are not always supportive (or even openly hostile) to participative approaches. In this 2.5-hour interactive virtual workshop, participants will learn how community leaders are building power, trust, and creative strategies to move community-led efforts forward in politically and institutionally adverse contexts. Attendees will also sharpen the skills and strategies needed to navigate community-led processes in a variety of settings, and consider how these approaches can be adapted to their own communities. Appreciate the leadership and partnership reflected in this grant opportunity. In Delaware, we have developed a clear framework for improving people’s resilience by addressing the home environment itself. Research and practical application led by Anne West (West and Company), Kevin Warren (Warren Energy), Jonathan Scaccia (Dawn Chorus Group), and Jim Purcell (Milford Housing Development Corporation) underscore something we’ve seen clearly on the ground in Delaware. Through the Energy Resilient & Healthy Homes framework, we’ve shown that resiliency and healthy homes aren’t parallel conversations — they’re part of the same system. When housing repairs, energy efficiency, and health considerations are aligned from the start, outcomes are stronger, more measurable, and more equitable. What makes this framework powerful isn’t just the concept, but the discipline: embedding evaluation early, minimizing burden on households, and capturing non-energy impacts like health, safety, and housing stability alongside energy savings. That structure gives policymakers and funders what they often ask for — proof, not anecdotes. The opportunity now is to move what’s been demonstrated into sustained programs and policy. We’re excited to share the 2025 Annual Report for West End Revitalization. Pathways to Trust gives them a way to act — to build the knowledge, awareness, and respect that are the foundation of every successful partnership with Tribal Nations.
