Who You Are

The Director of Marketing Operations is responsible for building the operational backbone of the marketing organization.


This leader creates the systems, processes, and structures that allow marketing initiatives to move from concept to execution efficiently and consistently.


They oversee project management across all marketing initiatives and ensure timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables are clearly defined and executed at a high level of quality.


This role requires someone who is deeply organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about building systems that enable teams to perform at their best.


What You’ll Do


Systems & Process Development

  • Build and manage the marketing project management infrastructure
  • Must be highly proficient in project management tools like Asana
  • Develop standardized project timelines, workflows, and Gantt charts
  • Establish clear ownership structures for all marketing deliverables
  • Implement structured intake systems for inbound marketing requests


Project & Workflow Management

  • Track marketing initiatives from concept through execution
  • Ensure cross-functional accountability across teams
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions
  • Maintain alignment across marketing calendars and priorities


Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as an operational liaison between Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Operations
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively across projects
  • Bring visibility and clarity to project timelines and deliverables
  • Responsible for keeping a regular cadence of high impact meetings to drive marketing campaigns forward, both virtual and in-person

What You’ll Bring

  • 6–10 years of experience in marketing operations or program management
  • Expert in Asana or similar project management platforms
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
  • Calm, structured, and solutions-oriented
  • Strong communicator capable of working across creative and analytical teams
  • Finds satisfaction in bringing clarity and structure to complex workflows
