Executive Vice President of Operations

Pacific International is partnering with a publicly traded global industrial machinery manufacturer about ~$20B in revenue as a Executive Vice President & General Manager to lead a key global business unit.

The organization designs and manufactures highly engineered equipment supporting critical industrial processes across a range of end markets, including manufacturing, energy, and other capital-intensive environments. Its portfolio spans complex machinery, engineered systems, and application-specific equipment used in demanding operating conditions where reliability, uptime, and performance are essential. The business operates with a strong global footprint and a large installed base, supporting customers through both equipment delivery and long-term aftermarket and service relationships.

The business unit itself represents a meaningful global platform within the broader organization, bringing together multiple product lines and a growing service and solutions capability. It operates across several regions and serves a diverse customer base, with a mix of standard and engineered-to-order offerings. The President will have full global P&L ownership of a $500M business unit, with responsibility for driving both top-line growth and overall operational performance.

This is a highly visible leadership role with a clear mandate to scale the business. Key priorities include expanding commercial reach, strengthening market position, and driving product and market development initiatives, while also improving operational execution across the footprint. There is a strong emphasis on building out the service side of the business and further leveraging the installed base to drive recurring revenue.

The role requires a leader who can operate across a global platform, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution, and who has a proven track record of scaling and growing a business. The right profile will bring experience leading complex industrial businesses, driving growth across multiple regions, and building high-performing teams in technically driven environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience growing a large-scale industrial business with full P&L ownership
• Background in power systems, electrical equipment, industrial machinery, engineered or related products
• Experience operating in product-led businesses with global manufacturing footprints
• Track record of driving growth and improving business performance
• Strong commercial leadership with the ability to scale global markets
• Experience leading across complex, multi-region organizations
