Human Resources Specialist

Summary

This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining positive and harmonious relationships throughout the organization. This position is responsible for addressing and resolving workplace issues, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Employee Relations Specialist will work closely with management and employees to provide guidance on employee-related matters and contribute to the development and maintenance of a healthy organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle employee grievances and conduct workplace investigations.
• Advise management on labor laws and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Develop and implement employee relations programs.
• Promote employee engagement and retention.
• Facilitate training on conflict resolution and labor laws

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree (preferably in human resources, business, public administration or related field)
• At least three years of progressively responsible experience with employee relations; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
