Information & Assistance Program ManagerIf you're the kind of person who can take a complicated situation, ask the right questions, and help someone move forward-you'll fit right in here.At Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP), our Senior Services Information & Assistance (I&A) team is often the first call people make when they don't know where else to turn. This role leads that effort across a newly combined region, making sure older adults, caregivers, and community members get clear answers, real support, and connections that actually help. What You'll Be DoingThis role leads the day-to-day operations of the I&A program across our sixteen county service area, keeping services aligned with Inform USA standards and Older Americans Act requirements while ensuring people receive accurate information, meaningful referrals, and timely support. You'll supervise and support staff who handle everything from routine calls to high-stress situations, helping them stay confident, steady, and effective without burning out. You'll also keep the program running smoothly behind the scenes-monitoring documentation and referral quality, maintaining audit-ready records, and supporting ongoing improvements that make the work more efficient and consistent. At the same time, you'll stay connected to the broader community by maintaining a reliable resource network, working with local partners, and representing the program in meetings and outreach efforts. A big part of the job is noticing what's not working-gaps in services, trends in community needs-and helping shape practical improvements that make the system better. What You BringYou have experience in senior services, social services, or resource coordination, along with a solid understanding of-or ability to quickly learn-programs under the Older Americans Act. You communicate well with people who may be stressed, overwhelmed, or frustrated, and you can guide a team while managing competing priorities without adding to the chaos. You're comfortable working with databases and program data, and you approach problems with a practical mindset-focused on solutions, not just identifying issues.Supervisory experience, familiarity with Inform USA standards, or knowledge of Idaho Commission on Aging requirements are all helpful, but not required. What You'll NeedA bachelor's degree in social work, nursing, public health, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. A valid driver's license is required, with the ability to travel throughout the region. Inform USA certification is preferred but can be completed after hire.Compensation:This is an hourly position, 32 hours per week with a strong benefits package and long-term stability.Starting wage: $23.70 to $25.00 per hour, DOE403(b) Retirement Plan with 6% employer matchHealth Insurance (multiple plan options; EICAP pays the majority of your premium and 60% of dependent premiums)Employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)Dental & Vision Insurance (60% of employee and dependent premiums covered)100% employer-paid life insurance, with optional supplemental coverageEmployer-paid telehealth and virtual mental health servicesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA & Dependent Care FSA)Optional employee-paid benefits (legal assistance, identity protection, pet benefits, and more)Paid holidays, sick leave and vacationWhy This Work MattersEvery day, older adults, caregivers, and community members reach out looking for guidance-whether it's navigating long-term care, finding support for a loved one, accessing healthcare, or understanding their options. This role is about stepping into those moments, sorting through what's going on, and helping move people toward real, workable solutions. If this sounds like the kind of work you care about--steady, meaningful, and making a difference where it counts-we'd love to have you on the team.
