Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Research, pitch, and develop original news stories and feature articles.
• Conduct interviews and verify information using reliable sources.
• Write clear, accurate, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with editors and team members to enhance storytelling.
• Monitor current events and trends relevant to assigned topics.
• Uphold journalistic ethics and maintain accuracy and integrity.

Requirements

• Strong experience in journalism with a portfolio of published work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, interviewing, and fact-checking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Understanding of media law, ethics, and editorial standards.
• Familiarity with digital tools for content creation and collaboration.
