Description
The Human Development and Quantitative Methods Division at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education (GSE) seeks nominees and applicants for a Lecturer in Education position in its Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Development (ISHD) program. The successful applicant will be expected to teach masters and doctoral courses in such areas as children and youth; cognitive, social and emotional development; learning in schools and other cultural contexts. The position will complement the division’s strengths in school and mental health counseling, as well as support Penn GSE’s existing strengths in applied research and development.
This appointment will be for one academic year and can be renewed twice for a total of three years, contingent upon a satisfactory performance evaluation after each year.
Qualifications
Competive candidates for the position must show a strong background in graduate-level teaching and advising along with a record of peer-reviewed publication. Applicants must have earned a doctorate in developmental science, applied psychology, or a related field.
