Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Upland, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, optimization, and sustainment of complex manufacturing processes in a regulated, high reliability production environment. This role focuses on translating engineering designs into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes while driving quality, cost, and throughput improvements across production operations.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure products are built safely, consistently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process flows
  • Support production operations by troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on yield, cycle time, cost reduction, and quality
  • Collaborate with design engineering to support manufacturability and production readiness
  • Define tooling, fixtures, and equipment requirements to support production needs
  • Support new product introduction activities including process validation and production ramp
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with quality and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
  • Support supplier manufacturing readiness and process alignment as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Experience supporting production in a regulated or high reliability manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process control, and continuous improvement principles
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience developing work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or other high compliance manufacturing industries
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Experience supporting machining, assembly, or complex electromechanical builds
  • Exposure to quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO standards
  • Experience supporting production equipment qualification and process validation
