Position: Physics Expert
Type:Contract
Compensation:$75–$83/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on physics problems.
Produce original problem sets grounded in experimental setups, field/wave diagrams, and phase-space plots.
Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
Annotate tasks to improve AI model outputs and training data quality.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and enhance model performance.
Collaborate with AI research teams to provide feedback and improve task quality.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in Physics, MS in Physics with 3+ years research or teaching experience, or BS in Physics with 5+ years tutoring, lab work, or applied physics practice.
Working fluency in at least two of: classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics/statistical mechanics, optics.
Comfortable reading and interpreting experimental setups, field/wave diagrams, and phase-space plots.
Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
