JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Security Consultant for a long-term, remote engagement. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and security of our SAP landscape by managing complex roles and authorizations, overseeing user access, and maintaining rigorous compliance standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP GRC and have a proven track record of supporting audit requirements within a secure environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain complex SAP security roles and authorizations across diverse SAP landscapes.
• Manage end-to-end user provisioning and de-provisioning processes to ensure secure and efficient access.
• Lead periodic access reviews and SoD (Segregation of Duties) analysis using SAP GRC modules.
• Coordinate and support internal and external security audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence.
• Monitor security logs and perform troubleshooting for authorization-related issues.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into secure technical specifications.
• Ensure all security configurations align with organizational policies and federal compliance standards.
• Develop and document security procedures, standards, and best practices for the SAP environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required for this position.
• Minimum of 7+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Security administration and design.
• Extensive expertise in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), including Access Control and Process Control.
• Strong proficiency in managing SAP Security across various modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW, FIORI).
• Demonstrated experience with audit support, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to manage user access management life cycles in large-scale environments.
• Prior experience working within federal or public sector environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Professional – System Security) are a plus.
