Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) in Philadelphia, PA for our client, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across corporate functions. This role partners with senior leadership to drive financial planning, analyze performance, and support strategic decision-making. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems such as SAP, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities as the Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A):

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, partnering with stakeholders to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze performance against plan, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations to communicate key business drivers.
  • Close Process Support: Assist with monthly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments across the organization to support financial planning and operational initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and system utilization.

Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in FP&A or accounting with budgeting and forecasting responsibilities is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or large ERP systems are required, with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
