Service Engineer

The Electronics Service Engineer maintains responsibility for the timely completion of assigned repair, warranty, and preventive maintenance service on Sennheiser equipment. Directly interfaces with customers regarding the technical aspect of completed/potential repairs.

Has experience with professional audio or video equipment. Can perform duties and repairs without supervision

Competencies/Qualifications

  • Will work on standard and advanced wireless systems, wired microphones, headphones, speakers, digital audio interfaces, networking devices
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment on all levels without supervision
  • Ability to understand electronic schematics
  • Has knowledge and experience of software/hardware hybrid products
  • Has knowledge and experience of digital audio protocols like DANTE, AES67 and/or similar
  • No electrical license required; however, familiarity with electrical safety standards for device-level repair is preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment on all levels without supervision
  • Has knowledge and experience of software/hardware hybrid products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Associate’s degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience
