This lesson is going to be brief because it's about brevity. Storytelling is wonderful, but you can't go on for too long. Seriously, 30 seconds, maximum a minute for a story, even if it's the greatest story in the world, because otherwise, maybe your audience might get bored. So how do you do that? Well, here's a few things to think about. First, keep it simple. Use words that even elementary school children will understand. I like to think of comedians who work constantly. They're always telling the same story, but they find a way to tell it differently so that each time it's even new to them. My friend, comedian Saren Rothenberg, gave me a few tips about how they do it. Practice telling it at a rapid speed numerous times before you do it. Say it in front of a mirror. Sing it in your head.
