There is no single tool that secures a shop floor. If someone is trying to sell you one, they are overpromising. Real endpoint security in an OT environment comes from a handful of disciplines working together, consistently, day after day. Five of them do most of the heavy lifting. 1. Continuous visibility. You cannot protect what you cannot see, so monitoring has to reach every IT and OT endpoint, not just the convenient ones. 2. Patch and vulnerability management. Updates have to land without taking production offline, which is its own quiet discipline in an OT setting. 3. Network segmentation and Zero Trust. If something does get in, tight segmentation stops it from drifting sideways into the systems that matter most. 4. Privileged access management. Far fewer people need access to critical systems than usually have it, and closing that gap shrinks the attack surface fast. 5. Threat detection and response. When something looks wrong, speed is everything. Catching and containing it early is the difference between an incident and a headline. None of this is new. The hard part is doing all five well, everywhere, without slowing the business down. That is where the platform matters. We run these pillars on Omnissa Unified Endpoint Management, which gives us the visibility and control every one of them depends on. We laid out the full framework, and how it plays out across industries, here: https://lnkd.in/ezPrcdkt #ZeroTrust #EndpointSecurity #OperationalTechnology Omnissa - Vivien Tan, Anoop Nair, Edna Lim, Lynette Lim, Asghar Reza, Umesh Goyal, Mudit Singhal, Vijay joshi Anunta - Ajit Aloz, Rajkumar Solomons, Miitul Rajjput, Sudesh Bhosle, Devesh Kacha, Philip Lopes, Rajashree Majumdar, Jerin Raju, Subramaniam Krishnan.

Singapore built its reputation on getting the details right, in advanced manufacturing and financial services alike. That same standard applies to how connected operations are secured. When uptime and compliance are both non-negotiable, endpoint security cannot be improvised. It needs a clear structure behind it. These five pillars are a practical place to start, without trading away the performance the business runs on. #SmartManufacturing #CyberResilience #ZeroTrust

Video Management System (VMS) working fine.. What happens when every camera triggers at once? Evacuations. Active threats. Panic situations. Most VMS platforms aren't designed for these moments. → Slow response times → Frame drops → Complete recording gaps Exactly when you need footage most. What reliable infrastructure actually looks like: ✔ VMS/NVR CPU below 50–60% during normal operations — preserving headroom for emergencies ✔ Camera-side motion detection to reduce server load ✔ Continuous system health monitoring — not just when something fails ✔ Capacity planned for the worst case, not the average day With Video Health Insights and Video Health Management, we help organizations identify these risks early - before they become a crisis. Your Video Management System (VMS) works fine today. But what happens when every camera triggers at once? Evacuations. Active threats. Panic situations. Most VMS platforms aren't designed for these moments. Here's the hard truth ↓ If your VMS or NVR runs above 80% under normal conditions, you're one incident away from: → Slow response times → Frame drops → Complete recording gaps Exactly when you need footage most. What reliable infrastructure actually looks like: ✔ VMS/NVR CPU below 50–60% during normal operations — preserving headroom for emergencies ✔ Camera-side motion detection to reduce server load ✔ Continuous system health monitoring — not just when something fails ✔ Capacity planned for the worst case, not the average day A system that fails during a critical incident isn't a technical problem. It's a safety risk. With Video Health Insights and Video Health Management, we help organizations identify these risks early - before they become a crisis. What's your approach to stress-testing security infrastructure before an incident happens? Learn more here: https://sie.ag/2Drsfj #smartbuildings #security #vms

Why Businesses Need Security Systems That Understand What's Happening, Not Just Record It Most security cameras do one thing very well. They record what already happened. ⬇️ Now imagine someone asks: Can you find the moment a person entered a restricted area? Or: Show me when someone left a package unattended. For many businesses, that means searching through hours of video. By the time the answer is found, valuable time has already been lost. That's why modern security is moving beyond recording footage. It's becoming a tool that helps businesses understand what's happening as events unfold. Before investing in your next security system, ask these questions: ✔ Can it identify important events automatically? ✔ Will it help your team respond faster instead of searching through recordings? ✔ Can it reduce unnecessary alerts and highlight the ones that really need attention? ✔ Will it continue to support your business as your security needs grow? At KLAMAN, we've found that the most effective security solutions aren't chosen by comparing camera specifications. They start with understanding your environment, your operational challenges, and the information your team actually needs. We help organisations plan, implement, and support intelligent security solutions that improve visibility, simplify daily operations, and deliver long-term value. By working with trusted technology partners such as EnGenius Technologies, we help businesses build security systems that are designed to be proactive, not just reactive. The goal isn't to collect more video. It's to find the right information before small incidents become bigger problems. If an important event happened in your workplace today, how quickly could your team find it? 📞 Let's talk: +49 69 348666 80 #AISecurity #VideoSurveillance #BusinessSecurity #SmartBuildings #PhysicalSecurity #KLAMAN

When healthcare organizations evaluate new partners, security takes center stage. As it should. But here's what I've noticed. New models get scrutinized hard. Existing internal processes rarely get the same look. Even when: → Internal workflows are often less standardized → Device control varies by department → Access management can be inconsistent across teams Sometimes the real risk isn't adopting something new. It's assuming what you already have is safer than it actually is.
