As Singapore celebrates its 61st National Day, I am truly honoured to receive Singapore’s Public Service Star (Distinguished Friends of Singapore). This distinction means a great deal to me because it reflects the strong relationship of trust that has been built up between Singapore and Thales over many years, based on shared ambitions, technological excellence and long-term commitment. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of witnessing this partnership grow stronger through ambitious projects in aerospace, defence, digital technologies and innovation, while continuing to invest in local talent and capabilities. I would like to thank the Singapore government for this honour, as well as our customers, partners and the 2,000 Thales employees in Singapore whose expertise and dedication make this partnership possible every day. To all of you, I wish you happy 61st birthday Singapore, and we look forward to go beyond what we do together today for Singapore’s progress. Majulah Singapura!
