Digitalisation is reshaping the way India invests.
From greater access to financial markets to a more seamless investor experience, technology continues to transform the investment landscape. Hear our MD & CEO Navneet Munot's perspective on the evolving role of digitalisation in India’s financial journey.
So what do you make of the digital disruption and how the industry is placed? We look at the transactions from a time when I started, all the transactions got them physically. Somebody had to fill out that form, attach the demand draft, do the KYC, all of that. You have physical papers, do a state where 98% of our transactions get done digitally, right from the KYC to portfolio to like onboarding to portfolio management to the education part, many things get done. This will only increase. India is at the cutting edge of digital finance simply because we have a beautiful digital public infrastructure. We are building over top of that, which is given as scale, right? If it wasn't digital, we wouldn't have been able to onboard millions of new investors the way we have onboarded in the last couple of years. So digitalization, we like such a boon for our industry and our ability to spread the word to a billion people has taken wings thanks to people like you. On the social media or the way you can deliver your message. So there are every aspect of our industry has benefited from the digitalization wave in the country.
