We’re hiring a Los Angeles Dodgers beat reporter. This role is focused on delivering comprehensive, multiplatform coverage of one of MLB’s premier teams across the preseason, regular season and postseason. This is primarily a digital role for NBCLA.com and the @NBCLA social platforms. Key responsibilities: • Break news on players, transactions and team developments • Cover games, press conferences and major team events • Produce features, profiles and enterprise storytelling • Create short-form video and social-first content • Build and maintain relationships across the organization What we’re looking for: • Proven experience covering professional sports (MLB preferred) • Strong reporting skills and ability to work on deadline • Comfort in a fast-paced, on-site environment • Experience with video and digital storytelling • LA-based and available for regular in-person coverage This is a contributor role based in Los Angeles.
