One thing I keep hearing in conversations is how tricky it still is to combine sustainability and high performance in coatings. It sounds simple in theory but in practice, there’s almost always a compromise somewhere. That’s why I’ve been following with interest some of the work our teams are doing around Ureido Monomers. The approach, using physical crosslinking to improve water and dirt resistance in water-based paints, opens up some interesting possibilities for more durable, lower-impact formulations.
