CESE Blast impact In this test case, a left-moving shock wave propagates and first hits a stationary bubble. This bubble loses its circular shape as it gains speed. After the shock wave hits the bubble, the circular pressure waves created keep moving forward and hit the structural panel causing its deformation. This video shows the fluid density isocontours and the structural deformation during this process. While this example does not involve structural material erosion, that capability exists in the LS-DYNA Dual-CESE solvers, and makes possible damage modeling in energetic FSI events.
