Transwestern-managed asset Five50 West recently completed its LEED recertification, officially elevating its status from Gold to Platinum! Only ~10.9% of evaluated Office assets worldwide achieve a Platinum certification (Source: Green Design Consulting), attesting to Transwestern’s ability to proactively optimize and manage its assets to their highest levels. The success was driven by the onsite management team and ABM engineers, with invaluable guidance from Ravi Bajaj, Transwestern's Sustainability & ESG Manager. Congratulations to everyone involved in elevating Five50 West to Platinum! #Transwestern #LEED #Platinum #PropertyManagement

Denver's Skyline Is Protected by Law 🏙️🏔️ Ever wonder why Denver doesn't have more supertall buildings? Part of the answer lies in Denver's protected view planes. Originally established to preserve views from key civic spaces toward the Front Range and important landmarks, these regulations influence how and where development occurs throughout the city. In some cases, a building's height may be restricted even when zoning would otherwise allow it to be taller. The goal is to protect the visual character of Denver and maintain the connection between the city and the mountains that define its identity. What makes these regulations interesting is that they demonstrate how development isn't driven solely by market demand or zoning allowances. Long-term planning decisions also shape the built environment, balancing growth with the preservation of public assets and views. The next time you look at Denver's skyline, remember that what you see isn't just the result of development. It's also the result of decades of planning and stewardship.
