The Zoo is Back on Summer Times!

From March 17 through November 15, the Zoo will open every day (weather permitting) at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. 


Winter hours begin on November 16 and continue until March 16.
The Zoo opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. during the winter,

Last entry is one hour before the Zoo closes. Guests are expected to exit the Zoo at closing time.

to visit as a member while you wait for your membership card to arrive.

 

ATTENTION: North Carolina Zoo Society Members, please present a picture ID and your membership card or membership purchase receipt at a Members-only Express Entry ticket booth to enter the North Carolina Zoo as a member.

ATTENTION: Guests visiting as members of partner or reciprocating institutions. Before you visit, review the Zoo Society's current list of reciprocating partners to verify the relationship we maintain with your zoo or aquarium. This list differs slightly from AZA's reciprocal list because some institutions modify the discounts available to members of nearby zoos or aquariums. AZA's list does not report these exceptions. It is our policy to mirror the benefits partner institutions offer our members.
How to enter if you are visiting as a member of one of our partnering or reciprocating institutions: Present a current membership card from the reciprocating institution and a picture ID at one of the North Carolina Zoo Society's members-only admission booths. (These booths are on the far left when you approach a Zoo entrance.)

If you are a Corporate Member of the Zoo Society, you can use your Corporate Membership Card or your Corporate Membership Tickets to enter the Zoo free, too.
