All of the multimedia subsystem feature updates have been merged for the Linux 6.18 merge window.

For the Qualcomm "Iris" video acceleration driver there is now H.264 and H.265 video encoding support plus various fixes to that driver.

The Qualcomm Venus video processing driver also added support for the AR50_LITE video core. The Qualcomm CAMSS camera subsystem driver also added support for the CSID 340 and QCM2290 CAMSS.

There are also a few new camera sensor drivers and various other changes as part of the media pull for Linux 6.18.

Sadly what didn't make this pull request is the AMD ISP4 web cam driver needed for the HP ZBook Ultra G1a and other future AMD Ryzen laptops to make use of this AMD image signal processing IP for a better web cam experience. The AMD ISP4 driver is currently awaiting review. Hopefully it will be good to go soon and could technically be merged later in the v6.18 cycle as a new driver but at this stage it may be stuck waiting now until v6.19.
