The winners of the 2025 Poynter Journalism Prizes will be announced on Tuesday, April 29.

Be sure to mark your calendars for 1 p.m. Eastern on April 29, when Poynter will share the winning journalism from 2025 across our contest’s 10 categories. Winners will be posted on Poynter’s social media platforms — LinkedIn, Bluesky and Threads — followed by the complete list posted on our website, poynter.org, once all winners have been announced.

Panels of distinguished journalists from all platforms have been working to choose worthy finalists and winners in accountability reporting, writing excellence and more. We’re excited to share this great work with our audience. Please save the date and join us.
